Great pub. Very good food and lively entertainment. The staff and local customers are so welcoming also some very interesting visitors from all over the UK and often the far flung corners of the world.

We moved Dawlish about 6 months ago and have started only recently visiting the Lansdowne. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting. They are child friendly (Alfie loves the stage area). I can see this become our full on local over the coming months.

What a fantastic night there, only wish I was a local as was only on a short break in area . Live band was brilliant. BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE GAFFER , made us feel personally so welcome even though pub was ramed ( in a good way) invited us to share great party food for free 😲 staff great and efficient too. Well worth a visit .would give 10 🌟 if I could . Thanks guys x

A good pub, mostly serving locals, TV sport is a prominent feature, 2 ales available.

Proper pub not one of these new places with no atmosphere or character. We had a lovely curry with rice, poppadoms, nann and dips. It came with a drink too for £8.49. Can't beat that. It was well presented as well. Recommend it to anyone.

A real pub for the people in the local community. Had a lovely pint of "Devon Red" cider and a Gin & soda with a dash of blackcurrant. Paid £8.20 for the privilege which is the cheapest price I've paid on our short 4 Day stay in Devon. Unfortunately they were not serving food.

Lovely food and a cosy outside area. There's also a modern jukebox and speakers throughout the whole building, so you can always hear it wherever you are.

First time we have ever visited this pub and the barman was attentive and professional. It was busy but he acknowledged us coming into the bar and served as soon as he was free. Friendly as if we were locals. Will definitely go there again and highly recommend to anyone in the Dawlish area

Good prices, variety of live music nights and a great Karaoke night on Thursdays. The drinks range is good and the prices are pretty reasonable too. I've heard they do a good cooked breakfast but I have to say I've not tried it myself.
