A lovely place with lovely owners. We come here every time we visit Dawlish as it is so nice for our Coeliac boys to be able to choose whatever they like off the menu. The food and service is excellent.

Where do you start? I was like a kid in a sweet shop....felt like my Christmas's and birthday's had all come at once. It was nice to be able to have a wide range of foods off a menu...puddings included ( even thou i'm not a cakey person) Had my first burger in a bun eating out in 6 n half years. Would go back to Dawlish just to go here :-)

We ate here last week whilst on holiday. We were made to feel so welcome and it was pm nice knowing that the team there had great knowledge of coeliac and cc. My little girl (3) was made to feel like a princess and she loved being able to chose from EVERYTHING off of the menu! Can't recommend this place enough!

I only popped in to get a quick take away of something today, and spotted my favourite : Black Forest Gateau....oh my ! It was very tasty ! Great friendly service, too. And no Mark, I didn't let my fish & chip scoffing hubster & daughter try any, despite their exclamations of "ooh, that looks nice, I need something sweet after this" !!! A big bonus that I could bring my dog in, too. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Dawlish !

Visited here today after it was recommended to us as we have two little coeliacs. What a brilliant place. Very friendly and amazing food. As a non coeliac I thought I'd try the gf burger buns and my word they were gorgeous. Great lunch had by all the family. It's so nice to feel comfortable going out knowing they know about cross contamination and ingredients. Thank you so much

Visited today en route home after a holiday in Devon. Great food and service. Delighted at GF choices. Our food was delicious. (Husband non coeliac and loved his steak pasty) Loved GF scone. Highly recommend Home Kitchen and not just if you have a dietary requirement. Wish we lived closer!

Very impressed. My Step Daughter is ceoliac and she felt like she was a normal person that could eat anything off the menu for a change. So much gluten free food to choose from. Definitely coming back next year.

Amazing little find! Safe to say, I wish more places were dedicated to offering meals for us who have Coeliac Disease. Thank you.

Lovely little cafe, the owner was very nice and friendly. All the food made in here was gluten free, which was a lovely surprise, the notices and menus say gluten free available, so it was nice to find out everything made here is gluten free! We were in here just for a warming quick drink, but after find out about the food we ordered cake and cream teas, which we started eating before I remembered to take a photo, hence the half eaten cakes in this review! Would definitely go back, nice choice of food available as well as specials. The cakes and drinks we had were really nice, it’s dog friendly too!

I visited with my disabled father, my mum and brother. Food was great. The young Portugese girl was really sweet and couldn’t have been more helpful. She was lovely. Thank you all of you.

Very nice home cooked food. Everything on the menu is gluten free and cooked fresh. Had a smoked haddock and mozzarella fishcake served with salad. Happy to put in a takeaway box so I could enjoy in the park opposite with sweet black swans!

Great gluten free cafe. The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful. A great range of gluten free food, including: cheese & onion pasty, pies and quiche. The donuts are freshly made and have to be pre-ordered (minimum of 6, but you can freeze them).

What a gem of a place this is. The gluten free menu was extensive with everything from pasties to burgers and lots in between. I had the chicken, leek and bacon pasties and chips which I remember rightly are made on the premises. The home made Toberone cheesecake which was excellent. The gentleman who served us really knew his stuff. There was even gluten free brown sauce and vinegar too.

Extensive gluten free options on menu. We were only wanting coffee and gluten free cake. The apple cake melted in the mouth and was delicious. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Incredible! Our coeliac daughter had the most delicious cheese & onion pasty and chips to take away today. She usually has to miss out on the ‘yum food’ as often we cannot find anything for her needs, but we stumbled upon this gem today and were very happy with the service and quality of the food… and we had one very happy little girl! Thank you :)

A lovely independent cafe with a brilliant appreciation of allergens, particularly gluten free dining. All of the menu and specials are GF, which makes a huge difference for my coeliac wife. The food is simple, but really tasty and good value. The service was attentive and friendly. Well worth popping in when you're in the area. Top tip, if you want to have the gluten free freshly cooked donuts, call ahead in the morning to place an order.

Gluten Free! Great food. Good staff. Gets busy but waits aren't too bad. Call in advance to order your donuts!

A family run eatery established around 2014. Nicely decorated with local paintings forsale and a railway themed decor. Small model trains are nicely laid out for you to enjoy. A Lovely corner cafe with a fantasticly large menu. Breakfast, burgers, simple sandwiches and much more all made on site. We had two bacon sandwiches and a shared portion of chips. Service was friendly and quick. Prices were very good too. Very recommended. Thankyou. Jon

Amazing friendly service! Lovely little place to eat and so knowledgable on coeliac, with all precautions taken to ensure no cross contamination. Really enjoyed our breakfast, just gutted we didn’t find out about this place sooner in our holiday as we’d have come for a roast! Thank you so much!

What a find! Not usual to find somewhere with such an extensive menu that caters for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans and gluten free. We had the toad in the hole, freshly cooked (where on earth do you get that these days!!!), served on piping hot plates with oodles of gravy and fresh mashed spuds and veg....truly deserving of their business name of 'home kitchen'. When we return to Dawlish we will be going back here to sample some more home cooking, not to mention the delightful staff and amazing service with a smile. The place was very busy, with both visitors like ourselves and locals who obviously frequent it regularly (and if we lived there that would be us!). Thank you for a memorable home dining experience!

A lovely atmosphere, great staff and fantastic food. Went twice in two days, firstly for a late breakfast then back the next day for lunch and to collect half a dozen gluten free homemade doughnuts (who knew!). A few doughnuts should have been desert but they all became takeaway items as the chocolate cake looked too good to be missed - it received top marks from the children. The Toblerone cheesecake I had for dessert is genuinely the best cheesecake I've had anywhere, it was remarkable. The only feedback I got on the doughnuts was "How is that gluten free!?" No other words were offered as doughnut consumption became the priority. I suspect we will be returning many times.

Suddenly lunch became a piping hot steak pie, veg and chips topped with a generous amount of thick gravy. The following day we dined at a long established inn at Dawlish Warren and wished we'd returned to Home Kitchen. Excellent friendly and attentive service.
