Had the daily special: for under £8 you get home made meat pie, peas, mash and gravy + hot pud with custard. Pot of tea £2. Excellent service and food. Toilet spotless. Very popular cafe! Think it's got a new name now? (Deja Vu?)
A most enjoyable meal, staff very friendly and accomodating....and great sense of humour too. Meal portions was generous and tasted perfect. 😋

Nice basic food. I had ham and mushroom omelette with salad followed by Apple pie and custard, 2 black coffees with cream.
The staff were friendly and efficient when dealing with me. Child friendly with high chairs available. Toilet facility's on site.
