We went here on the off chance of them having a table. They did, and I’m so glad they did! The service was excellent and the food was some of the best Turkish food we’ve had! We were delighted this was only at the bottom of the road and will definitely return. My partner is incredibly fussy when it comes to good food and likes to think he could be a judge on master chef. And he was impressed. Simple dishes done expertly. The host was so lovely and when we loved the tea so much (as well as the food!!) she gave us a little take away box of the tea and told us how to prepare it. Above and beyond what we expected. I hope that this restaurant continues to grow. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Fantastic food and service.
The food was well cooked and very tasty. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. We tried a bottle of their Turkish rose wine which was also very good. All in all we had a good night out. We will definitely be returning.
Had a lovely meal for my birthday with a few friends last night! Heather - the owner - was incredibly welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The food was AMAZING - would definitely recommend the Adana Kebab. There was a great selection of food and drink on the menu, a little something for everyone! I cannot recommend this place enough!
Ordered a takeaway using the midweek 25% discount. Was told there would be about a 30 minute wait so sat in the small waiting area and had a Turkish beer to pass the time! The food was worth the wait. When I got it home I was surprised to see the extra sides of salads and dips/sauces. The Adana kebab was delicious and the bulgur wheat was the best I’ve ever tasted. Hoping for delivery in the future!
We were so excited to go and try out this new restaurant as we often holiday in Turkey and love Turkish food. We were not disappointed. You can tell everything is fresh and authentic. The service was good and the owners were great to talk to. We’ll be back for sure.
We have waited a long time for a decent Turkish restaurant to open in the BB postcode area and this one is an absolute gem. From the delicious meze starters and the gloriously moreish Turkish pide (pizza), to the well-chosen Turkish wines and the splash of cologne at the end, it ticks every box. Authentic, welcoming, great value for money. What's not to like! Just wish i was close enough to order takeaways as well as they are well worth the wait :-)
Just seen the negative review and have to say that it is completely wrong. We were two of the other customers mentioned and we did not speak to him when he was leaving nor did we or any other customer suggest that we would not be returning.
He was very vocal about his complaints which I thought was unfair as we did not have any problems with our food or service and did not want to hear about his. This is not our first visit and it will definitely not be our last.
Our food was well cooked and very tasty and it was all served in a timely manner.
Couldn't recommend this place enough. The owners are so lovely and welcoming and the food is unreal! Can't wait for my next visit.
