I have given three stars for atmosphere as this is a take away and not a sit in restaurant.
The food is always up to a good standard and the waits are acceptable.
The price is as expected and on par with other take aways in the area.
The Universal is a Darvel institution. Three generations of my family have enjoyed the food from here, and we've never had a bad meal yet.
Every time I have placed an order from that place attached been absolutely amazing couldn't ask for any better service and also I think is the food is reasonable price I would just wait to get seafront and give it a five star rating
