This was the best place for vegetarians in Dartmouth by far. The food was lovely and a great choice for vegetarians and vegans. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Also gave us some great recommendations of where to go for drinks afterwards. Although it's a lovely pub to drink at too. The building is beautiful and really well kept. Keeping it's old feel but also felt very clean. It's right in the centre too. My partner and I couldn't fault our experience here.

Came here for dinner due to recommendation. It is a really beautiful old building with real character. It had nice beers and a fair selection of food. We shared a starter and then had some steak and chips plus hake and veg with 2 rounds of beer. The service was good and the quality of the food was good, with the steak being a little overdone. Overall a lovely experience. Recommend

Fantastic pub, full of history. Lovely atmosphere with a fire going on a cold and rainy April Saturday. Very dog friendly with water and treats offered. Very good priced menu, refreshing after seeing the prices some other pubs were charging. Went for seafood sharing platter which was amazing as per photo.

Really quaint happy pub with great food and drinks. Rosey cider was just as intended, a good lunch menu both cooked and sandwich fayre. Seafood salad sandwich was full to the brim, fresh and tasty. Steak and kidney pudding with mash divine and not greasy. The haddock mash just brilliant . Prices where not extortionate, the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Popped in here for a quick pint at the Dartmouth Food and Drink festival. Lovely old pub, really cosy with a great fireplace in side for a winters day!

Forced to spend 3 days in Dartmouth due to bad winds. Eventually found our way to The Cherub, charming little pub with absolutely cracking food & portions (we couldn't manage a desert!) The young lady who served us (Scarlet) was an absolute delight & wonderfully polite. Recommend highly

Nice pub with a good atmosphere. We enjoyed our pint of beer /cider. I accidentally left my purse behind at the pub and the staff were super helpful the next day helping return it. Would highly recommend.

Rather lovely spot tucked away. A cosy insular bolt hold. Serves food at first floor with ground devoted to quality local Devon classics. Favourite spot in Dartmouth.

Didn't eat here...looked like a limited menu. Would probably choose to eat elsewhere, as interior looked a little cramped for dining. Good choice of ales, the two I tried were in good condition.
