Best pub in the shire because the landlord's a grafter & never stops working, networking or giving his patrons the feel good factor!

Superb evening spent. Was my daughters 8th birthday and we were out for dinner asked if they could stick a candle in something for her..came back with ice cream, chocolate brownie and the pub singing happy birthday...priceless..thankyou..great food and local ale.

What a fantastic pub!!!!!! My wife and I found this by accident and rediscovered it on purpose. Arrived when the rugby was on TV, great atmosphere and lovely staff and customers. The seating outside on a summer's eve was perfect and the atmosphere throughout was warm, relaxed and friendly. Returned late afternoon midweek to find chilled tunes, different (but still lovely) staff and quality beer. This is not to be missed, don't chance your arm elsewhere this place has character, warmth and quality beer. Many thanks for your kind hospitality 🙏🏼. We will be back next year.

Absolutely crammed with nooks and passages and character and vibes, felt like a really cool Camden pub. We accidentally wandered in looking for a toilet but stayed for a drink and I'd have stayed much longer if we could. A tiny stage in the corner of the downstairs bar made me wish we were there for a night of live music, it must be a riot. The bar staff were every bit as character filled and vibey as the venue. I honestly loved the place!

Good old fashioned pub. Well cared-for pint. Enjoyed the old-skool reggae that was playing when we visited. Treasure this place, they are becoming thin on the ground.

Great place for a couple of pints surrounded by locals and a lively atmosphere. The gent's toilets embrace the old world charm of pictures of nude girls on the walls so this pub is probably not for you if you are awake to wokeness! But if you approach life with a lenient smile, great place to be (the pub, not the gent's!)

Yeah man proper pub playing some chilled out tunes, the beer is good and it’s not crazy expensive. Could spend the rest of the day here but for parking restrictions…

Rough and ready but in a good way. Lots of nautical brick a brack on the walls and ceiling. Nice pint of St Austel Tribute.
