Anzac Street Bistro - Dartmouth - Photo album

An exceptional restaurant that I had the pleasure of dining at last week. The pan-fried scallops I had as a starter were perfectly cooked, with a delightful garlic taste that complemented their natural sweetness. The mushroom risotto for the main course was cooked to perfection, featuring a balanced
Lovely cosy restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, great food just what was needed on a damp autumnal evening. Fantastic service and gorgeous food, and lots of it!
Very friendly,Nicky and Mitch are great hosts. Lovely light room, very comfortable with a great bathroom. Ideally situated for the ferry, shops and walks. Delicious breakfasts and dinner. Highly recommend.
Good food but small menu. Freindly staff Music on Friday night good but rather loud for a small venue, tends to make conversations hard work
What a find! We spent a very enjoyable and comfortable three nights in one of Mitch and Nicola's very comfortable rooms which we found large, quiet and spotlessly clean. We were made to feel extremely welcome and enjoyed great food. The restaurant was buzzing with very happy customers, always a good

We had the most amazing meal here, food was fantastic loved the Catalan Fish stew and the deserts were equally as good. Staff were great, really attentive creating a great atmosphere. We will definitely be booking again.
Amazing food and a very wide local gin list. My daughter never eats risotto at home but finished every scrap here. Anzac Bistro we need your recipe. Sea bass was delicious as was the steak. Lovely ambience and great service.
Lovely food, very helpful owners and staff. Obvious that the new owners have only been running it a for a short while, but their enthusiasm, and retention of a very good chef will see them through the first season, and on to undoubted greater success.
Had a wonderful meal at the Anzac bistro last night, absolutely delicious food, great host and such a warm welcome for us and our dog. The menu is quite small but every dish sounded wonderful and choices for vegetarian and vegans too. The baked camembert was yummy and we had seabass and steak mains
What a lovely place to stay. Excellant value for money. Central location but very quiet. Food was excellent and Simon and Aga were very good host's. We will definitely stay again
Great little bistro. Very friendly staff, good service - and delicious food at a reasonable price. Will definitely visit again. Thanks Anzac for a lovely meal!
What a lovely bistro. Good ambience, small but perfect menu. Food extremely tasty (arancini starter, veg tagine and sea bass mains, summer pud, tarte tatin and a bottle of malbec all for £80) excellent value for money and excellent service.
Nice bistro tucked away in a street behind the main streets on the waterfront. We got there about 6.30 and it was a bit disconcerting to find we were the only ones there. It soon filled up, however, so that was reassuring! I ordered the sea bass and the wife had the plaice from the specials menu. B
What a delightful evening thanks to two very special ladies! Superb food, beautifully presented; imaginative and interesting; a delight from the first morsel to the last. Fabulous venue with a warm and welcoming ambience housing eclectic collections, intimate and charming. Cannot wait to go aga
