the best I`ve had since the 60s/70s in Harry Joyce`s Tower Bridge Road ...the same "burnt top" ( the best thing ) ...liquor was superb ...great mash ....and stewed eels ..third time there ...will be back ...and I live in Deal ...Oh, not forgetting the staff ....all really friendly and welcoming ...a big heads up to this fantastic eatery
I'm a manzes boy, but thought I'd try this as it's on my doorstep and OMG it is incredible. The food is soo much better. I'm so glad it's not far, now I can have it alot. Service is amazing. Highly recommend!!
The best pie & mash i've had today. Good quality mince meat in the pies and with a slightly burnt top too. Definitely worth a visit.

After a long time, we visited our local Pie shop. They have The Hall of Fame Pie challenge. Eat 5 pie's within the record time of 3 minutes or 7 pie's in 7 minutes. Go for it.

Came here after watching Beardmeetsfood do a 7 pie challenge! Me and my family are big pie and mash fans, and this challenge was for us.
I attempted the 5 pie challenge and completed this within the time frame given.
The staff are super friendly and very welcoming. And the food is so tasty!
Will defo return again!
Above average pie and mash with very friendly staff, very good prices and its even cheaper if you take the 5 pie challenge, one of the cleanest shops I have been in which is always a good indication as to how the food is stored and served.....and yes I did the challenge in a good time. soon to introduce a 10 pie 4 mash challenge comes with a map to the nearest A&E I presume.
Overall a decent bit of pie, mash and liquor.
Pies are often served well done here which is to my liking but may not be to others. Staff polite and friendly. Average prices. Seating inside can be a bit tight for the larger/tall person.
Parking can sometimes be a problem.
Would revisit again.
My freinds if you wanted a traditional pie and mash shop this is the place to Go !!!! Spend the extra to get the bus or train me and my brother had a lovely time pleaseant atmosphere lovely beautiful staff fresh food pies only just out the oven so much so my brother got seconds very reasonably priced and jellied eals wonderfully experience we will be back thankyou for your wonderful food and service.
Took a trip out to sample some south London hospitality and London cuisine . I wasn’t disappointed. A warm welcome was had with cheery banter and a nice strong cup of tea to warm up with . I had one pie mash and liquor and all were tasty and I stopped short of licking the plate lol . The pies it must be told are large which based on some of the mini sized pies in some shops I’ve been to , always draws me back . Avvit !
Had takeaway before. But 1st visit ..lovely food and great service .will make this a regular visit.
Fantastic pies and the liquor is nice. The mash is great too. Nothing to complain about, come here every year for lunch when my team Hemel Hempstead Town play away to Dartford. Good value prices too. Very welcoming and friendly staff, had zero issues with my guide dog being there and were very accomodating giving him water.
Went there today .. excellent pie n mash beautifully fitted out dinning and counter area.. and a warm welcome.. i shall be a regular .. and would highly recomend .

My misses introduced me to this place only a few months ago and we've been there plenty of times since! Pies are fresh, mash is smooth and the gravy ...oh my! Great service and reasonably priced highly recommend
