visited a friend in Sidcup yesterday and popped into this pub by the off chance it did food. Really nice pub and food was nice and freshly cooked. Landlord was a gentleman and nice to meet an old school publican. Staff were polite and welcoming. Would be pleased to use this as my local if I lived in the area. Tom the steeplejack.
Had a few ales and a very tasty, reasonably priced cottage pie. Staff and clientele very friendly. Thoroughly recommend

A well run proper pub with very friendly staff and landlords. Amazing good value roast on Sunday-I need a kip now lol. We will be back James and Tracey.
Brilliant place, if you like real ale The Ivy is the best pub in Dartford.
Great place where the local population talk about the latest madness that the other group who frequent the other local pub did the night before.
In that pub, it was clean. Warm, the workers all very friendly and the food was was it says on the menu and the local even emailed and say I seeing a stranger coming in so if I go back there I will stop because it is a nice pub and it is nice to sit down somewhere you can sit and chill.
Great landlord and landlady. A real, traditional pub with friendly locals and fab Sunday roast. Just across from nice park to walk it off afterwards Xx
Food was lovely and welcome from behind the bar was first class. I can't understand why I'd never been in before as I've lived locally but only ever driven past. It will certainly be on my 'go to' list now though. Food was very well presented, delicious and freshly prepared.
Great pub. Was here today watching Slough Town at Dartford. We did get beat but a few pints in here before the game and a few pints after the match made it more bearable. Great landlord and some brilliant punters made me feel very welcome.
