visited a friend in Sidcup yesterday and popped into this pub by the off chance it did food. Really nice pub and food was nice and freshly cooked. Landlord was a gentleman and nice to meet an old school publican. Staff were polite and welcoming. Would be pleased to use this as my local if I lived in
Had a few ales and a very tasty, reasonably priced cottage pie. Staff and clientele very friendly. Thoroughly recommend

Food was lovely and welcome from behind the bar was first class. I can't understand why I'd never been in before as I've lived locally but only ever driven past. It will certainly be on my 'go to' list now though. Food was very well presented, delicious and freshly prepared.
Great pub. Was here today watching Slough Town at Dartford. We did get beat but a few pints in here before the game and a few pints after the match made it more bearable. Great landlord and some brilliant punters made me feel very welcome.
