Lovely afternoon spent here today. Food was great didn't have to wait long for food to arrive at all. Full salad bar A* Full House in but not noisy at all mixture of age groups so atmosphere alright. Service was nice, friendly and welcoming. Would visit here again. Downside is a bigger car park required to accommodate visitors.

Great refurb, we haven’t been back since a bad experience a few years ago. But very impressed with the new look and the massively improved food standards. Would definitely recommend

A wonderful meal at the refurbished Harvester. It looks great! My dad uses a walker and front of house staff swapped us to another table (without us asking) so he wouldn't have to navigate a couple of steps. Amazing customer service! Our server Danielle was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. We had the 3 course Easter special which was very good value.

We had a great time at Harvester restaurant where we were served by Lee. His professionalism and kindness made a great impression on us. We were particularly impressed with the well-prepared ribs, tasty salads, and delicious tart. Everything was very tasty and fresh. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good quality food and a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you, Lee and the entire Harvester team, for a wonderful culinary experience!

Very nice grub, who doesn't love lots of free salad with your main meal 😀

The food was piping hot. I had salmon with mash and green veg. It was superb. The salad bar was well filled, tidy and fresh. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. First visit in 2 years and will return if it's as good as that all the time.

OMG, that was a fabulous 'dirty' burger. So juicy and flavoursome, topped with a very tasty fried onion 'nest' and a crunchy hash brown. Oh, and a big helping of sweet potato fries...crispy and gorgeous. Finished off with a squishy chocolate brownie and ice cream. Definitely worth a return visit!

Waiter was really nice. Food wasn't as good as it used to be though. Ribs were a bit tough and the cajun chicken was burnt underneath and covered with too much spice. Salad was very fresh and tasty but the rolls were hard and stale.

We ate at the Harvester with our toddler son this evening and had a lovely meal. The restaurant and outdoor area looked really nice and has been refurbished to a high standard. The salad bar was well stocked and really clean. Our waitress was Tanya who was lovely, put our order through quickly and got more drinks for us when we needed them without waiting long at all. We’ll be back and we recommend visiting if you are in the area.

Visited the harvester in August for our mums 60th. It was a lovely evening, the atmosphere was perfect, the decor is beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic especially from our waitress; she was very welcoming, polite, informative and the food came out on time for each course. Will definitely return for many more evening meals out here

The waitress was absolutely amazing. Nothing too much trouble and such a sweet lady. All other staff we encountered were lovely to. Brought my wife's parents there for the first time and they loved it. Food was all good to. What more can I say. Lovely staff , lovely food and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely go there again 100% 👍

I came here the week it re-opened & ordered from the festive menu, which was yum. So I decided to come back again, this time with my son. The service was great, salad bar had plenty of salad but, they didn't have mine or my sons, first choice of starters, apparently all sold out. So I ordered tomato soup. It was not tomato soup, it was a bowl of cream with a thick dollop of tomato paste sitting in the middle. The server actually said to me when she bought it over "I think they were a little heavy handed with the cream", well that's an understatement. Anyway, she said that if I didn't like it, she would take it away & get me another one. However, as she was very busy, by the time she returned, some 10 minutes or so later, our main course was ready to be served. So she took the uneaten bowl of cream away & said it would be removed from my bill. I just cannot understand how a chef can send out a bowl of cream instead of a bowl of tomato soup with a drizzle of cream. Did he/she not stop & think that most people do not like that amount of cream with their soup. Other than this hiccup, the rest of the food was lovely & I cannot fault the staff, they're always very friendly.
