Me and my mum love this pub! If you love cheesy chips it’s a must! We are always served by the same man who is the most accommodating waiter I have ever met. He will try his best to be as hospitable as humanly possible. P.S the roast dinners are equally as nice.

Went for Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday with family. We reserved a table a week ahead, but they were already booked up so that we had to sit in the bar area rather than the restaurant section. Not the best or most modern looking places for food but the food really does remind you not to judge a book by it's cover! If you like good, honest food then this place will surpass your expectations. The ploughman's is astounding.

Only used this pub for Sunday lunch so far but always a friendly greeting from staff. You will not be disappointed with the portion size so make sure you're hungry 😀 they beat the regular carverys hands down..thoroughly recommend

Thanks to the great staff and owners they let myself and Bentley through the packed watering hole to there child friendly garden were they made sure I had a wonderful pint off bitter and Bentley had a bowl off water with crisps great walk thaxs guys a must go to pub :)

I would highly recommend the roast on a Sunday. We where in a party of 6 and between us we tried all the meats which where all good cuts and cooked to perfection.
