Second time we have been here with family, both times we have had the loveliest welcome from the staff. The food is delicious and piping hot, it caters well for families. Lovely atmosphere perfect for getting together with family or friends as you are not rushed and able to chat. Will definitely be back!

Food was beautiful staff lovely. celebrated my mother inlaw 53rd birthday she is very poorly and is currently in a care home down the road. really accommodating for wheelchair and even cut up her food. just a lovely experience. if I want to be really picky the place was just too hot but it was a hot day.

A brilliant place to have lunch. The staff are great, the food is varied, tasty, and well presented. It's a lovely building and one of our first choices whether we have my granddaughter (10) with us or not. It needs a bigger car park - but that isn't an option.

Great spot to stop at for some food and drink. Dog friendly...children to haha 😄 Also if you turn left from the pub and walk along the road you can get into the field behind, which takes you down to the river. Nice and shallow so good spot to get feet wet and dog's can have a splash to.

Visited this pub several time last summer. The services was good as was the food. Sunday lunch is one of my favourites and am looking forward to the better weather coming this year. The garden area is perfect for summer days.

Good value Sunday roast. Staff were absolutely lovely, so attentive and welcoming. Excellent service too. Food pretty good and there's not many veg types missing from your plate.

I had lunch there with my friend. We sat on the raised decking area surrounded by beautiful flowers. The food was really tasty and reasonably priced. There is a big garden area too.

Booked this place today as partners parents were up for the weekend. Food was lovely and served quite quickly considering the pub was quite busy. For Sunday roasts a choice of ham, lamb, beef or chicken with a selection of vegetables or you could also have scampi or burger. The staff were friendly and polite. Dinner was great. We had to wait a while longer for the puddings , but they were apologetic. Nice size portions. Where we sat there were placards with funny sayings on which kept us amused in-between courses. All in all a nice meal to round off a lazy Sunday .

Service was amazing - food was lovely and fresh. It was a tiny bit pricey but it was definitely worth the price we paid. The whole group had a fantastic time and the staff went out of their way to give us impeccable service. Place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Would go here again definitely

Great pub for Sunday lunch.. deducting one ⭐ for the fact their 'pie: is a puff pastry lid rather than a real pie. It's still very nice though... and the chips are top drawer 🙌

Was looking for a dog friendly pub to meet friends for lunch. It was a great place. The staff were super friendly and very helpful, helped move other customers around to enable us to put two tables together. Food was good and the staff made us feel very welcome. Also has a nice beer garden.
