Best fish and chips in the town. I went there on the off-chance a while ago for my elderly Dad as his usual chippy was shut.
Dad won't let me go anywhere else now! He says they're the best he's ever had, and having tried them myself I have to agree.
The fish is cooked fresh when you order, none of this sitting under a heat lamp rubbish.
At £5.95 for regular fish and chips the price is also highly competitive.
To top it off, the staff are excellent, always smiling, happy and chatty even though they're always busy when I go.

This has to be the best fish and chippery in Darlington. The food is gorgeous and very ample portions. The price is a little bit pricey but well worth it for the food and portions. The meal deals are exactly the same for value and tastiness. The staff are helpful and jolly. Best place in Darlington for food and service. ❤
Popped in for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. Chips are super nice crispy and tasty - not sloggy like other chippies. Fish was perfect
Right Plaice this chip shop has improved over the years and has some good deals on food. There is still a little room for improvement.
Food was well prepared and hot prices are a little on the high side.
Staff were friendly and informative.
It is worth the visit and has an extensive menu which should suit all tastes.

1st time we have tried fish and chips for here, the fish is the best iv teasted since Bartlett street closed. Highly recommend, will definitely go back again.
In my opinion the best chippy in Darlo by far, been coming here for over 10 year, the ownership may have changed but the quality and value for money hasn't. Staff are always welcoming and friendly
