Just been for new years eve meal with friends portion size and quality was spot on really good food won't wait another year before we go again

Went today for my birthday lunch with my fiancé, he had the mixed grill and I had the steak and scampi. Steak was cooked perfectly, mine rare and Dave’s blue. Not very often you get a steak cooked blue to perfection but it was lovely. The staff were also fab and friendly. And proper real chips too!
Just finished a 10oz fillet steak it was THE BEST EVER that I've ever had, and I used to work in a butchers shop. I would highly recommend this place.

We visit the burtree Inn at least 5 times a year for our girlie get togethers, Christmas meal last night was gorgeous and we got free mince pies and a bottle of wine couldn't ask for more, friendly staff, very good service lovely food �� �
One of the top pubs in the country staff 10out of 10 food 10 out of 10 always made to feel welcome I stopped here again last night had the pork zacohoff wonderfull meal thank you
Had a great meal yesterday with family. Food was fabulous, huge portions and all super tasty. Staff even made extra effort getting kids meals out first and getting extra chips for a tired fussy 3-yr old despite it not being what we ordered for her! Thank you.

Fantastic place. We had a meal there on a Sunday and it was lovely. Our order came quickly and hardly any wait. I thought the food was a little pricey on the menu but when the food came out it was worth it.
Went here for a meal with my kids. Not the first time. I/we keep going back as the food,service, etc. Is always great. Good food selection and reasonably priced.
The Gammon belly buster is to die for really portions and really tasty the Yorkshires are massive and tasty along with the strawberry sundae would recommend again
Went here today on a whim for dinner and the food was really good we had an original parmesan and belly pork with black pudding prices were reasonable these meals with 2 pints cider and 2 pints of coke came to just over £40 . They have a varied menu and will be calling again.

We recently called here for lunch. It has a lovely relaxing and welcoming interior. The staff were first class, could not fault them. As for the food, this was delicious and a great price as well. There was also plenty of parking spaces. I would definitely recommend it.
First, but not last visit, fitted us in without booking, though booking looks to be preferable as it was busy.
Food was outstanding, service matched, staff were so busy, but a smile on their faces.

Lovely meal at the Burtree Inn today. Service was excellent, very attentive staff. Food was very good. Desserts to die for, best we have all had in a while. Overall recommend the Burtree for a delicious meal out.
It's the best restaurant in the area for choice and quality. The staff are really friendly even when they're under pressure.

Interesting menu, black pudding with an almost Thai twist for example. Original, tasty but wouldn't have it again. Same with the pork medallions. Lamb shank however was spot on. Value not bad. Around £20 per head for 2 courses without drinks.
Consistently good food and plenty of it. Great service too. Easy parking outside.

Had a lovely time celebrating with my family. We were celebrating an 18th Birthday. The staff were welcoming, attentive and very accomodating for our needs. The food was good, great portions some were a little oversized so a couple people we were with felt they couldn't quite finish their meals. Otherwise we had a fantastic time and would recommend!
