I had the bbq pulled park parmo and it was absolutely beautiful! The parmo just melt in the mouth and it's so nice to have chippy style chips with it makes a nice change. Garlic sauce was really nice quite thick.
All in all lovely experience, bit of a wait when collecting my food but staff were friendly and did apologise. The shop its self is very clean too!

Uplevelling? Rubbish. We need downlevelling in which the best of the north shows the south how it's done, with Haughton Chippy leading the charge

I ordered a hot shot Parmo. It was really good. Chip shop chips are always better. Garlic sauce wasn't great. But, I didn't need as much because "chip shop chips!". I'd have scored 4.5 star's but it's not possible.
Excellent fish chips especially,large cod that i usually order via delivery. which always on time,tasty#hot highly recommended, others on menu good too.

Passing through the area and needed something quick to eat. I had the fish and chips lunch menu for £6.50. Cooked quickly to order, chatted to friendly staff while I waited and really good value. The fish was clearly very fresh. This is the way all chip shops should be! Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Recommended.
Just the classic yet brilliant fish and chips. With their new range of burgers I finally know, where all my savings have gone.

A great local chippy charging good prices. The fish is always massive and the chips are good, and there's plenty of scraps on offer. Just a shame they charge a little extra if you want a tray to eat your chips on the way home.
EDIT: As you can see below, they've responded to my point about the trays - it's a fair explanation, no complaints from me.
I wouldn't listen to these bad reviews. We have had great fish and chips every time we have been in. Amazing owners and great food.

Delivery was quicker than I expected.
I am usually not impressed with fish shop chips but these were great, and no mean feat to keep batter crispy in transit !
