A lovely lunchtime meal, I had an American Hot pizza just perfect for my taste. Being lunchtime it was a bit quiet - only three other customers - so the social atmosphere was missing. Used a two-for-one discount voucher to make it better value for money. Wouldn't have gone there otherwise.
Had a takeaway pizza, it was delicious. Also I arrived much earlier than the time I'd booked online and the chef just got on and made it for me, so it was lovely and fresh. Dough balls were a little bit sad though otherwise it would have been a 5*
Phenomenal. It's a chain, but the food quality is of a high standard. Very accommodating for toddlers and my little boy loved the children's cheese and tomato pizza. We try to visit once a month as a treat because it can be quite expensive but worth it if you find a voucher which are frequently available on social media and other sources. They also stock my favourite non alcoholic lager too (barvaria) which is a big plus from me.
Nice enough venue and the our pizzas were good, for the price I was pleasantly surprised as I'm quite fussy about these things. I've given 5 stars because all the staff were very friendly and attentive, looking after us and especially our 2 year old.
Amazing staff here. So friendly and accommodating. Couldn't recommend more. The food was all very nice as well. Definitely as good as a Pizza Express gets.
We went here for a light lunch, ordering 3 starters and drinks. The service was superb the restaurant was not that busy, the chef even brought us our food and got us extra dips with no bother. Very clean and well presented the restaurant had a great atmosphere. On a hot summers day the place was cool and calm. Great value for money, would come back again.
Downloaded the app on the morning, waited six hours and got two free pizzas! Great deal! Was even advised by the staff to pay 1.50 to get an even better deal. Saved £25!! Nice one pizza express!
Love this place! Been coming here for years and the staff have always been the best... currently they are awesome!! Appreciate the hard work they do whilst consistently delivering top service and great banter!
This is a nice place which is right in the centre of Darlington. The food is good and it has a reasonable menu and it's all about average prices, although the drinks are a little expensive. The staff are efficient and polite and the facilities are clean. Thanks.

Great meal. Had gluten free pizza , with dairy free cheese that I took. Quite a treat for me ! Only complaint would be that the gluten free base is the small one and I am sure I could manage the bigger one .
Best one I have ever been to the bread dough , was literally unbelievable stanard, doughballs and pizzas were beautifully cooked and by far the best food in pizza express I have ever had specially as doughballs are there trademark. And stereyotypicly the staff are wonderful. Looovvveee it.

there are lots of pizza express restaurants but the one in Darlington is great because the staff a great. We go because we can take the kids and they are really very welcoming.
Very good food is amazing and catered well to a large table of 14 as well as other smaller tables at the same time.make a small mistake with a meal but very kindly comped the bill.
