One of my favourite pit stops when out in a cycle route. Perfect little place with great coffee and beautiful bacon buns.. run by a fantastic host. Would recommend this place to anyone passing the area, no matter how you get there!

We absolutely adore Rosie's place. It's welcoming, there's great food (crepes!) and her cakes are to die for. It is so child friendly especially with warmer weather. If you don't fancy sitting outside it is recommended to call ahead as she has 4 tables inside. Cannot recommend this enough. Thanks Rosie! X

This little venue is great for a tea and a cheese scone or more if you wish. The Shepherds Hut was great but the little bus is even better as the views out of the windows are lovely. Stay over as there are pitches for campers and caravans with electric hook ups. A clean unisex toilet is also available too. Well done Rosie ! Happy Days

A little gem in the country. Friendly Rosy makes you so welcome. Bacon is delicious as is the fresh laid eggs from her own hens. Pancakes are scrummy. If you haven't been yet. Make a special effort to go. You won't be disappointed xxx

Another wonderful reception. Always welcomed with a smile. Who cares that it takes a while for your filter coffee and bacon sarnie to arrive. Such a small kitchen to produce the order so there's time to chill out relax and wait in anticipation for that mouthwatering fat dripping sarnie and black strong coffee. Then there's still time for a cheery wave and well wishes for the rest of our cycling journey. 20/10

Had a run out here today with the Mrs and the Dog and was a great place to stop, really nice quirky little setup, coffee and cakes were awesome, especially the victoria sponge! Seemed popular with cyclists and had a great setup with bike stands and everything nicely distanced apart. Definitely recommend.

Excellent service. Well worth passing the major service establishments and only a mile down the road from them. Good food and coffee served with a smile. Just off Junction 59 on the A1 and head for Brafferton.

We used to go when it was the lovely little cabin, unfortunately the cabin is no more, but has now been replaced with a quirky little bus! All tooting all beeping! My partner had a bacon and sausage sandwich and I had poached eggs on toast (and an extra cheeky sausage) honestly it was THE BEST poached egg on toast ever ever ever! All beautiful, locally sourced ingredients and a lush big pot of tea, followed by fantastic home baked cakes! The service was gorgeous as usual! We love coming here it's so cute and cosy! Does what it says on the tin I suppose you could say!
