Always loved this place the food is exceptional,Indian cooking how it should be.
The staff are amazing creating a welcoming and comfortable visit every time, would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine in Darlington.
Had a wonderful meal last night ! Been on several occasions always great food and great service , they are accommodating on the menu , i.e. If you want extra spice . They offer alternative Indian food , not the norm , but always good , highly recommended ๐๐
Relaxed dining in a great setting. Feels like you're in someone's house in the front room. Food is different to usual Indian restaurants. Good portion sizes - huge lamb samosa starter! Good value for money. Would recommend and visit again when I visit Darlington in the future.

Just had a birthday meal there last night. Have to say it was fantastic and different. This is not just your typical Indian. The food is unique and different and full for flavour and spices. Love the menu and the Owner and staff are very good hosts. Service and atmosphere was excellent and all the family loved the food and flavours. Will defiantly be going again. Next month its my birthday so will be there again. Best lamb Balti I have ever had! Lovely!

Been to a lot of Indian restaurants but this one blew all of them straight out of the water! I'm very fussy when it comes to service, I don't take anything less than excellent. You go out for a meal and you expect a good experience. The waiters were extremely attentive, the food was impeccable! I had lamb. The meat was so tender it could have been served on its own. It literally fell off the fork. The herbs and spices in the sauce created a melody of flavours that were to die for. Incredible dining experience! Me and my partner will definitely be returning and are eager to see if the takeaway service meets the same standard as we saw tonight in the restaurant. A very easy 5 star rating! *****
Ordered takeaway, absolutely amazing there's nothing I would complain about. The food came about 10 minutes earlier then estimated which was an added bonus. There was a great mix of flavours will definitely be ordering again
Went here tonight with my fiance for our engagement anniversary. I am so fussy with my indian food! I have my favourites... this place really did do the best Indian food I have ever tasted!! The 'First class' railway lamb was the best Indian dish i have ever had and highly recommend it to anyone wanting more than just a takeaway dish. The pickle tray was a lovely addition. Thank you.

Nice little place. Took a long time to get our meals to us, though we were a group of 10, we had booked the table in advance, and not that many others to serve. Food, when it did arrive, was nice enough, slightly underwhelmed with a lack of distinct flavours in the dish, but pleasant enough.

Tried this place for the 1st time over the weekend and its AMAZING!! Proper Proper Proper Indian food! Seriously! No nuclear colours of bright red sauces or neon green chutneys. Service was an 80/20 situation - our waiter was fab but he was stretched out serving too many tables. Overall decor was really trendy BUT too many empty walls. Would have been good to add a few contemporary Indian modern art (my opinion). Hope they don't run out of yoghurt :)
Great food and service. One of the best Indian meals I've eaten. ยฃ46 for 2 starters, 2 mains, rice and a side dish plus couple of drinks each.
Always a welcoming atmosphere and the food is excellent with a mix of traditional and modern styleโs.
I've been a number of times now and the food is absolutely excellent, the service is good, the menu choices are quite unique (they do have a run of the mill Indian menu on request). I've eaten foods here that I have not seen in other Indians.....give it a try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
The only downside is the choice of beers available.
Honestly the best Indian I've ever had. I cant handle spice so got the prawn korma. I took the left overs home and had then for lunch the next day and it tasted just as good

I've eaten here many times also get regular takeaways from duke Bombay. I Highly recommend Excellent quality and price. Easily one of the best curry shops around. A must try
