This place is great, it's a really lovely country pub. The staff are friendly and helpful, even cooking burgers for our two children when it wasn't on the menu for Sundays. The food really is fantastic, the Sunday roast was amazing. We will definitely be back.

The Sunday roast was great, we both had roast beef, good Yorkshire pudding and plenty of veg. A good choice of wines ‘by the glass’. The staff were all lovely and friendly. Shame we didn’t have room for pudding!

We would like to thank Zoe and her amazing chef and bar team for hosting our wedding on 25th February. The hot buffet was amazing, the decor was just perfect. We were looked after from start to finish, nothing was a problem. All our guests commented on the food and how welcome they were made. You all certainly made our day/night a day to remember. Highly recommend for any event or either just a drink or a meal. Xx

Met up with good friends for a walk on the common and ended up at the Cricketers Arms for an impromptu lunch. Very friendly and found us a table in amongst all of the reserved ones. Menu looked great but disappointingly quite a few items were not available, so had a more limited choice. Halloumi burgers and fries were delicious. Dessert again limited as 2 choices were no longer available. They were fine but only lukewarm. Very attentive service and lovely environment, very convenient to the NT Danbury Common.
