Bought my mum here yesterday for lunch for an early Mothers day gift and the salads were great, it was like a never ending plate of food! The best lunch and value for money I have had in a long time .

2nd time at Tea on the Green and the food did not disappoint. Great club sandwich and ciabatta. Large fresh delicious portions washed down by individual pots of tea. Unfortunately too full to sample the desserts. Perhaps next time.

Absolutely love it here. My favourite tea rooms by far :) I used to work in danbury so I used to get my lunch from there. I now work further away and still go back as much as a i can! Highly recommend :)

We have just had a hen party here and it was amazing!! Can't fault it in any way. The staff are wonderful and so caring the food was simply scrummy and the bride to be was thrilled X it was also amazing that they only got there alcohol licence yesterday but went out of there way to let me know so I could arrange prosecco to toast the bride. We can't wait to go back Amazing afternoon thanks girls xxxx

This tearoom is in a beautiful building (free parking in front and behind) - very small - seated quite close. It was packed when we visited at 12.15 on a Saturday. You can reserve a table online though. I ordered the club/avocado sandwich - it was huge I just about finished it. All sandwiches etc are served with crisps, coleslaw and salad. We had a pot of tea each and all together it was about £13 each, great price. Staff friendly and attentive - we will definitely be visiting again.

Visited here on a Saturday around 12:30. Got parked for free right outside easy enough, was three quarter full inside with some people also sitting outside as it was a nice day in August. Cosy inside, staff were nice and friendly. I had a club sandwich which was amazing but make sure you're hungry because it was a lot to eat. My friend had eggs benedict and said it was very good. We both had vanilla lattes and a Belgian bun, total was £30 I figured that was very good value for the quality of what we had.

Always friendly and always delicious food. A small tearoom so can be difficult to get a table if you just turn up. They take over the phone reservations on the day though. A lovely place!

Can't fault this place, the food is good quality and huge portions, lovely service with a smile and a nice atmosphere. Every time we come it just gets better one of the best tea rooms in the country. This place is busy for a reason it does everything from cooked breakfasts to sandwiches, loads of home made cakes, salads, ploughman's and don't forget the every changing specials. Ideally located for after you've been on one of the many lovely walks around Danbury you'll have earned your cake afterwards

It is nice, but some people are allergic to dogs, customers are allowed to bring dogs inside. Otherwise a good experience.

Lovely little cafe, amazing cooked breakfasts and afternoon teas. (not at the same sitting!) use of country style items to add to the quaint village cafe feel. Beautiful little duck lake opposite which aids the visual appeal and is a lovely back drop when sitting outside.

Excellent. After a mile long open water swim (my first time of doing this) we were famished. We were a bit late, it being about 2.30pm but had a lovely set of coronation chicken sandwiches with thick cut fresh and tasty brown bread loaded thickly with a very nice coronation chicken. With crisps, home made coleslaw and a nice salad it was a serious plate of food. No need for dinner tonight! Excellent coffee helped wash it down. My daughter's hot chocolate was particularly good she said too.

A lovely little tearoom with a good menu. When I visited for a late lunch, the service was very slow. It took 15 minutes, after being seated, to get a menu. However, the waitress was pleasant and apologised for the wait and once the order was placed, the food came quickly. The sandwiches were generously filled and tasted good.

What a find! We stopped after walking on Danbury Common and we weren't disappointed. I had a lovely slice of cake and delicious cappuccino and my daughter had a really good oreo milkshake with just the right amount of sweetness. They have cute little cabins outside and plenty of seating inside too. I am tempted to return for the afternoon tea it looks tempting.

Love this place, met friends here and all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. I had the burger and my husband had the fish and chips. This place is well worth a visit if you are ever in the area. We will be back for sure.
