Tea On The Green - Danbury - Photo album

We enjoyed great coffee and cake, the grandchildren had a bonus of ice-cream with their cake. Highly recommended.
This tearoom is in a beautiful building (free parking in front and behind) - very small - seated quite close. It was packed when we visited at 12.15 on a Saturday. You can reserve a table online though. I ordered the club/avocado sandwich - it was huge I just about finished it. All sandwiches etc a
Visited here on a Saturday around 12:30. Got parked for free right outside easy enough, was three quarter full inside with some people also sitting outside as it was a nice day in August. Cosy inside, staff were nice and friendly. I had a club sandwich which was amazing but make sure you're hungry
Always friendly and always delicious food. A small tearoom so can be difficult to get a table if you just turn up. They take over the phone reservations on the day though. A lovely place!
Can't fault this place, the food is good quality and huge portions, lovely service with a smile and a nice atmosphere. Every time we come it just gets better one of the best tea rooms in the country. This place is busy for a reason it does everything from cooked breakfasts to sandwiches, loads of
Good quality food and ample portions with friendly service.

Lovely little cafe, amazing cooked breakfasts and afternoon teas. (not at the same sitting!) use of country style items to add to the quaint village cafe feel. Beautiful little duck lake opposite which aids the visual appeal and is a lovely back drop when sitting outside.
Excellent. After a mile long open water swim (my first time of doing this) we were famished. We were a bit late, it being about 2.30pm but had a lovely set of coronation chicken sandwiches with thick cut fresh and tasty brown bread loaded thickly with a very nice coronation chicken. With crisps,
A lovely little tearoom with a good menu. When I visited for a late lunch, the service was very slow. It took 15 minutes, after being seated, to get a menu. However, the waitress was pleasant and apologised for the wait and once the order was placed, the food came quickly. The sandwiches were genero
First time of visiting lovely food
What a find! We stopped after walking on Danbury Common and we weren't disappointed. I had a lovely slice of cake and delicious cappuccino and my daughter had a really good oreo milkshake with just the right amount of sweetness. They have cute little cabins outside and plenty of seating inside too.
went today with friends and enjoyed the breakfast and love very much the latte! way better than costa!🥰
Love this place, met friends here and all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. I had the burger and my husband had the fish and chips. This place is well worth a visit if you are ever in the area. We will be back for sure.
