We went for lunch today and had the blue cheese and peppers ciabatta, and a ham and cheese toastie. Both of them were absolutely amazing! The combination of flavours was perfect. We also took some homemade white chocolate cake and banoffe pie home, both extremely good!

Amazing cafe in Dalkeith- just as well as it was the only thing open there today 🤔. Friendly staff, lovely interior, good cakes though most looked a bit tired - lavender one as well but very tasty. Toastie was amazing and coffee very good. Would recommend and we will be back.

Little tiny coffee shop with 6 tables. I really liked their Honey cake and chai Latte is so good. Appearance of shop, cups and menu really impressive. Only disappointed is we waited for more than 30 mins to get our coffee to the table. Apart from that everything went perfect.

We tried Lavander's afternoon tea yesterday, and it was incredible!! The food was superb, fresh, delicious and a lot of it!! :) All done in the most delicate and caring way! We mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and the staff made it all even more special for us with tasteful decoration

I am SO happy I found this little gem of a cafe in Dalkeith! I literally go everyday - the coffee is the best coffee iv had in a LONG TIME, the cakes and food are super yummy and the service is amazing - the most friendliest staff!

Family said it was nice so popped in for tea and a scone. Staff were very friendly and the scones tasted lovely. Will be going back soon.
Spent my morning working away here and the ladies were lovely and provided me with the Wi-Fi password. Only downside was no coffee available but they had a great chai latte as an alternative
Lovely lunch, highly recommend the caramelised onion and cheddar toastie. Also really good coffee and they use a good oat milk for it too! Lovely staff!

Lovely little cafe in Dalkeith. Offers something very different for the area. Surroundings are pleasant and bright. Staff are friendly and attentive. We tried the afternoon tea and it was excellent. So much food!! The China cups and saucers were a cute touch. Accommodating of customers request too!
