Sat in for a meal last Thursday.
Was excellent. The woman who took our order was very helpful (even if I did make it slightly awkward due to the just eat menu offering spice levels - sorry!) and attentive.
Food was great. Asked for an extra spicy madras and it was exactly what I wanted.

I have to say the food was first class ++ the service excellent, the only reservation was there were two drivers but no alcohol free beer. Having said that they let us go and buy some and gave us glasses. Having spoken to the staff I do believe they will start stocking % .we had a very pleasant expe
Fantastic service and excellent food! The best Tandoori Paratha with (side) Chana Masala I've ever tasted! Great value at £6.99 - and suitable for vegetarians 5* and staff so polite and friendly.
My wife and I just ordered some food from the slum dog restaurant it arrived In perfect time was still hot and we were very impressed as it was delicious, will be eating more food there in the future and also will be recommending it to other family and friends.

The British Raj Chicken is absolutely superb, and is probably my favourite dish.
I must admit I had avoided ordering from here due to a bad experience a few years ago with a delivery that never turned up after two hours but I'm glad I gave them another try this being the third occasion I have ordered since they opened in Dalkeith. So we went today at 10am for breakfast with kids our first impression very clean place and the female who let us in was very friendly and helpful she was on her own and was running the whole place so well-done to her. food was 10/10 took nearly an hour to come but we knew it was getting freshly made

Went with a party of six for a meal and we weren't disappointed, generous portion sizes and the food was delicious. The chicken was tender and tasty and we were able to choose how spicy we wanted our main meals to be. A good selection of dishes to choose from.
