On a beautiful sunny day in Dalkeith, my partner and I decided to take a wee wander down to The Restoration Yard for some lunch.
We were greeted at the door, and despite not having a reservation, we managed to get seated outside with a beautiful view in the sunshine.

One of the top brunch spots in Midlothian. The food was great, the setting beautiful and perfect for a wander into the country park to walk off some of your hearty meal!
It does have a £3 car parking charge which is a bit annoying if you're only heading there for food but it's a small price to pay.
The all day breakfast (at lunchtime) was very nice but expensive for what was included. My wife had a mussel and charitso salad and said it was lovely, My real gripe thoughwas the noise.
