Ordered take away and did not disappoint. Reason for 4 stars is we ordered few months back and felt the food was much on a different level. Not sure if expectations were high or change of cook but still really nice.

My wife and I had a meal in the restaurant one evening just for a change, rather than simply ordering a takeout for collection or delivery. We both liked the extra choice you get in terms of menu items when you order as a sit in. There are also plenty of vegetarian options. It was a Wednesday evenin

We had Spring Rolls, Peking Spare Ribs and Chicken Fried Rice...absolutely delish. Would highly recommend.

Excellent food and substantial portion sizes. Tends to be a bit quiet with not a lot of atmosphere. Decor is how Chinese restaurants were a couple of decades ago.

Food was excellent, alcoholic drink expensive. Friendly service. Pretty quiet when we were in (17:30 ish) but phone orders were constant. Definitely a popular venue.

Easily had 50+ takeaways from here over the years. Every single time has been spot on. Great food, good portion control, always quick from ordering to collection and never an item missing. Keep up the great work

Food Is nice and service is excellent.

Everyone enjoyed their meal. Food was excellent portion sizes were good on the whole and the children's options were good too. I do think main meal prices are very expensive - to charge over £4 for a single portion of rice is hard to fathom over and above the main dish price.

Had a lovely tasty meal here. As a vegetarian I sometimes find Chinese menus don't have much on offer but The Peony had a good selection. Service was very good and the dessert menu was tempting too. For a main course with a glass of wine and a dessert my friend and I paid £46.00 between us.

Absolutely brilliant service and food but they do have to get a new high chair as no middle strap and my grandson fell straight through it

We decided to visit here for Valentine's night as it was a work night too. The food was very good. We will be back
