The Granite Kitchen - Dalbeattie - Photo album

A very pleasant lunch here. Friendly service and great food. I had chicken tikka nan bread which was very nice and my girlfriend had a coronation chicken jacket potato. My girlfriend said it was “the best coronation chicken she’d ever had.”
We booked afternoon tea for quite large group and were all thoroughly impressed and delighted. Lots of delicious homemade food! And a great variety. We couldn't finish and had to take some home in boxes. The staff were attentive and friendly and they were very accommodating of the different dietary
What a great wee cafe this is.. Staff are always friendly and helpful, food is excellent and portions very generous. That cream of beef taco soup was off the scale! And don't get me started on the cakes.. Awesome! Our go-to place when in Dalbeattie. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
A little unassuming cafe serving great food. We had the full breakfast and toasties. They are both excellent. Well impressed with the freshness of the salad. Didn’t expect this. Not to mention the good northern portion. Would need to come back another time for the cakes and coffee.
We were cycling the Southerness, Dalbeattie, Dumfries loop on Saturday 9th September 2023 and popped in for brunch. The Waitress was lovely, chatty and helpful - nothing was too much bother, you could tell the Café was frequented by lots of regulars (always a good sign). We had the mini and full br
Great value, awesome food and very friendly staff. Service is brilliant. First time visitor but will be back.
Been coming here for years, superb food, one of the best cooked breakfasts around and their pancakes are delicious, they also have a great selection of home made cakes and pastries that are always to die for!!
The cafe is central and has decent menu choices. They have a good variety of cakes on display.
On a wee trip to Dalbeattie to watch the Mayhem Winch Challenge we stumbled upon a lovely little cafe called "The Granite Kitchen", we had the Cheese Burger and the Chicken burger which were both scrumptious 😊 the staff were very welcoming (even though we are English lol) the cafe was very clean and
Lovely place brilliant staff good service
They do a very tasty vegetarian breakfast 😊
Absolutely lovely lunch we has in here on Wednesday. Lovely and clean, welcoming, staff were great too. I had a panini and Victoria sponge, my daughter had a bacon roll and chocolate brownie, my husband had the slab and Victoria sponge and my son had the kids lunchbox and chocolate brownie. We all a
Have been in here twice, whilst on holiday. Lovely old church converted into gift shop and coffee shop. Good staff and excellent choice on the menu, cakes to die for. Highly recommended
Nice food and good portions. Good value too. We had a problem with our food at first but it was quickly and generously dealt with.
Best food ever. Gluten free options, amazing portions. Friendly staff.
Great food and friendly atmosphere
This place is a little gem. Well cooked meals at very reasonable prices and great friendly service. Don't leave without trying the cakes of the day. Genorous helpings and soo tasty, difficult to choose only one (so we had takeaway too,,)
Having spent three days in and around Dalbeattie, my only disappointment was that we didn't find this place until our final day. Whereas the other cafes seem to be dated, the Granite Kitchen is definitely offering something more modern. A lovely place for breakfast or lunch.
