Just popped into London from Northampton for the day n found this little Jem. Took me back to my youth in walthamstow. Proper food and locals talking about local things. It's like I'd never moved away. Thanks ladies for the stuffing Iv been missing for years����
I go to pie and mash shop every time I go home to parents. Great food, fantastic staff. A must restaurant to visit. I wished it was near my home I would eat there all the time

I've been going there for as long as can remember. Can not fault the food, one of my favourite take aways and best of all they deliver.
Heath Pie Shop has been open and run by the same family for over 53 years and my first visit was at the age of 3 - 45 years ago. This first visit instilled in me a love for pie and mash that has remained with me ever since.
Due to geography I've not been able to vist for the last 30 years but today had the chance to come back with my parents as we were doing a nostalgia tour of Dagenham.
The service was fast and friendly, the food was just as I remember, the portion sizes large and the prices reasonable. There is even a car park right outside.
With pie and mash shops a dying breed it is wonderful to see one thriving and still preparing it in the traditional way.
They also do local home deivery.

I recently ordered from here and was thoroughly impressed with their service. The pre-booked delivery for a party was prompt and efficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the process.
The quality of the pies was outstanding, everyone attended enjoyed the pies and they could tell that they were made with care and attention to detail, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. I was also pleased to see that the small unit had a handful of tables and chairs, making it a great spot for a quick bite to eat.
The shop itself had a charming and cozy atmosphere, and I couldn't help but feel like it was a family-run business. The staff were attentive and welcoming!
The Pie Shop has recently implemented a new card processing system that allows for phone payments. Although they are still adapting to the new system, it has the potential to be incredibly beneficial, especially for party bookings and deliveries. Previously, I had to physically visit the shop to make a payment for a booking, so the option for over-the-phone card payment will be a convenient improvement.
Overall, I would highly recommend Heath Pie Shop to anyone looking for delicious pies and friendly service in the Dagenham area. Whether you're planning a party or just looking for a quick meal, this shop is definitely worth a visit.
I went in this afternoon and it’s like going back in time. The quality is 5⭐️the service absolutely brilliant. My son asked for additional licquer and there was no questions asked it was given with a smile. I’m back there tomorrow 😍
Went for the first time yesterday and loved it, the pie and mash was bang on, and when you add the spicy vinegar and pepper you’ve got something that tastes really amazing. Great old school decor and furniture, exactly the sort of place we should have more of. Highly recommended

The food is brilliant, the portions are decent! They do home delivery and the package the food well for take away meals, the prices are not extortionate as well. Proper pie and mash, one of the few places left

Very happy with my visit and even to hear the accent of the lady that served me. Sadly not card machine but was directed to one over the road. The lady served me while my partner when for cash. This place is 10/10.

Exactly what you expect. Fresh and good quality pies, lots of liquor. Only point of contention was the time it took, clearly very popular and not enough people behind the counter. Were trying to juggle a full shop and deliveries in the evening and it led to them being a little less than friendly but I won't judge too harshly as the food itself was up to standard.
Friendly staff, good food, clean environment and a happy atmosphere. They provide an excellent delivery service available most of their open hours. You can have delivery soon after ordering or like myself pre book for a specific time. A truly superb pie and mash shop, nice to have one local considering that most pie,mash and eel shops are no longer around.

Love this place the food is always hot, and delicious, the service is fast whether direct from the counter or served at your table.
Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
High chairs available for little one's and wheelchairs are always welcome.
