Me and my friend went there.for the first time yesterday..and what lovely fish and chips we had..was so yummy..and what a bargain..2 meals for £7.50..see you again next week.and was lovely seeing Brenda the barmaid..who I have known for years..staff very friendly made you feel very welcome..100% recommend.�
It's a lovely place, good service great food. We often enjoy our Sunday meals here with family.

Delicious food, big portions and great value! Had the bigger version of the fish & chips, and it could easily be shared between two people. The vegan burger was top notch, full of flavour and not dry at all! Staff was very friendly and the service was fast.
The only downside was that the kids pasta was a bit dry, without much sauce on it. Can't really complain to be honest, got the offer that it costs £1 when you get another adult meal. Very good deal.
Another let down was the back beer garden, it is not looked after at all, but it got so much potential to be really nice. I hope that the current manager sort it out, as it would be really nice to sit on the outside with kids, away from the main road.
Such an amazing atmosphere, the staff are wonderful, always a friendly smile and happy to help you with anything you need.

The atmosphere at the pub is brilliant everyone enjoys themselves.
I'm down there nearly every Friday Saturday and Sunday and I always get a warm welcome from Kate and the team.

Had a Groupon voucher for starters and chicken skillets, the starters and main course we wanted, they didn't have, so we had the nachos and halloumi fries and then chicken fajitas - I have to say this was very nice. The service was friendly. They was a little bit disordered at the bar, didn't know much about the voucher, didn't know anything about the booking we made online. But we got there in the end. This pub is what you would call a locals pub. A little bit dated, but was all good. The fireplace is a nice feature.
Food and atmosphere brilliant. Nicest meal I have ever eaten in here, been coming for 27 years or so. Lovely. Barstaff also very very lovely xxx
Good atmosphere, drinks are good value and the poker on a Monday is well organised and a great night, also really enjoyed the mixed grill.
My local pub and love it...great bar staff, friendly and efficient. No waiting for pints here. A proper pub!

Great place to meet with friends and family. Good for special occasions and family meals. Great entertainment, staff are very friendly and welcoming.
A nice pub. Good atmosphere neither too quiet nor noisie. Staff friendly and prompt service. Usual tvs and local historical pictures on the walls. Good sized car park. Only popped in for a pint but enjoyed it thoroughly. Will visit again when passing.
