This morning me and the better half decided to try the carvery. We live very local and have never tried it so we gave it a go. The food was stunning, the beef was so well cooked it melted in my mouth. The veggies were beautiful and plentiful. I think we will now be going every Sunday as the cost is very very reasonable and not worth the hassle of cooking at home.

First visit tonight. Wanted somewhere for Harry to eat while Mummy & Daddy had a drink. Lovely food (so many places don't bother putting the effort into children's food) & super friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon.

Thanks guys for a much needed roast today after climbing Pen Y Fan. Homemade patè was amazing! Carvery was delicious.... soooo much food and everything was yummy. Only dissapointing thing was we were too full to try dessert.... means we have to come back! Being within walking distance could be dangerous

They couldn't do enough for us! they supplied gluten free sandwiches and cakes just for my auntie .. let us pick the sandwiches we wanted and asked us if we wanted anymore once we finished .. sandwiches and cakes were all fresh and the scones were gorgeous! .. would defiantly recommend to anyone and i will defiantly be back and looking forward to trying their meals as the prices are brilliant! would give more than 5* :)

I stayed here for 3 or 4 days in the week for just over a month. Everything about the hotel is brilliant, the rooms are very nice. Spacious, clean, and we'll decorated. There's an excellent selection of drinks to be had whatever your favourite may be. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly and staff are very polite and chatty. Service is second to none! The food has to be the highlight, all home cooked and prepared in house. My favourite on the menu was definitely the steak and ale pie. The deserts were incredibly good. My favourite being the lemon cheesecake. Carvery is on a Wednesday but do book in advance as spaces go very fast indeed. Can't wait to visit again!

Cannot fault this establishment at all, their food is amazing and the service is a notch above other like minded restaurants. Parking is always ample and the atmosphere leaves nothing more to be desired.

We haven't been to the Cwrt Henllys for over 10 years, but I have to say everything is still as good as it used to be. Amazing carvery with a great selection of sweets. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, we will definitely be returning very soon.

Only visited The Cwrt Henllys twice, and on both occasions was very enjoyable. The Bar and Lounge is spotlessly clean and well presented. The Bar has a vast selection of Wines, Beers and Spirits plus some modern day selection of drinks. The Restaurant looks very nice, and the large conservatory looks an excellent choice for any family and business venue. The views are something to admire as you can see straight across the Bristol Channel. There is seating outside for those who want a drink in the fresh air on a summer's evening. Back inside the Lounge Bar is a small room which occupies a Poole Table and back in the LB are a few TV screens two standard size and one large screen to view those important sports events. Upstairs is accommodation with En suite rooms, which, if as presentable as the downstairs will be worth a stay. I'm led to believe that there is a swimming pool on the premises, not too sure if it a private one or not. The menu has your usual Bar meals, however, cannot comment yet on the food, but that won't be long before I try there cuisine. And finally the owners/Landlord and Landlady are very welcoming and 'full' of character. So,The Cwrt Henllys is well worth a visit.
