Great food and plenty of it. It really is a great family pub fantastic beer garden. Can get busy which can cause a delay in getting your food order. All I would say about that is be patient the staff keep you informed and the grub is well worth waiting for.

We love it here! The food is good quality pub grub and staff are lovely, in particular Kim, who always makes our little girl smile and makes a fuss of her. This has become our regular pub grub place!

We had our baby shower here and the service/Experience was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and couldn't of asked for a better place to celebrate to tell our friends and family. Good value for money, Definitely recommend. Definitely coming back 😁

good food and the lady serving us is great. my daughter asked how big mushroom slices in Mushroom and Cranberry roast nuts on the menu as she doesn't like mushroom and this super nice lady even offered to show the raw prep mushroom👌 this is awesome service. thank you .
big parking space and best of all no kids running around whilst you're eating. the family dining in with toddlers and children are well behave. the staff are nice too.
Came in the other day, food was superb! I had a mixed grill, really good sized portion and all the meat was cooked perfectly. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming and to top it off what a beautiful setting! Will be back soon for sure!
Me and my partner, had a lunch here and between us we had fish and chips and myself had a steak. Every mouthful was delicious and the staff, welcoming and very helpful. We cannot wait to come again.

Food outstanding all 3 courses. Service excellent. Would definitely recommend, we had a party of 12 and all 12 of us were impressed and would come again.
A superbly renovated old country Inn.
The new(ish) owners have spent a lot of time and money renovating and upgrading this old traditional country inn to a high standard. The food is excellent with good portions at very reasonable prices. The pepper sauce is one of the very best I have enjoyed.
They have a comprehensive "specials" board with a daily "special offer" and a great choice of deserts.
Children are well catered for with a great, and safe, outdoor play area to keep them occupied whilst the grown ups relax.
Dogs are welcome, and outside is a "doggy station" with drinking bowls for pets.
There is also a board showing upcoming special events such as Saturday night bands, music nights, vintage car, and bike meets.
I do have one criticism though, as a "real ale" fan I was disappointed that, at least on the day I was there, no proper beer was available and I was "forced" to drink Guinness 😉
Came with my friends for Sunday lunch, I highly recommend the Beef and Chicken, it was stunning, there was so much meat, I couldn't eat it all so the staff wrapped it up for me to take home. Lovely afternoon
Food was excellent allbeit a bit slow. Was waiting an hour for our food due to a large table getting there in front of us.
Beautiful location and excellent for sitting outside in the summer sun.

Had a really lovely afternoon here. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and polite. It was very Christmassy with all the decorations and of course the beautiful views from the windows. Will definitely be coming back!
Afternoon tea was so delicious. I went with my mum and nan for a early mothers day treat. There was more than enough food and all freshly made. The staff decorated the table lovely and they were also very attentive. Amazing customer service and great atmosphere. Thank you.
