The loveliest of hosts, the owners are a couple that made us feel so welcome with the most divine attention to our meticulously made coffees and baked goodness. My son grew up the most delicious baking and stated that Stephen's house made lemon pie was the best he has ever had!
Nice, cosy place for ascone and soup on a cold afternoon. Homey vibe, friendly service.
We had the nicest experience in this tiny cafe which serves delicious home cooked meals. The owner is also training to be a storyteller and he entertained us with the funniest story, I believe it was called 'The Liar'. This was among one of our nicest memories while travelling in Ireland & Northern
Beautiful little cafe. Scones are the best I've ever had and the lemon meringue and is highly recommended. Will definitely be back again when in the area.
"Do you have time for a story?" We were about to leave after an excellent scone with jam and cream when the owner of the café asked us. And yes! If course we did have time for a story. We had already enjoyed one of his beautiful stories the day before and were thrilled to be offered another one. Mak
During our travels through North Ireland we stumbled upon this quaint little café. The people were so friendly and the food delicious. For me it was the highlight of our travels! It is truly Irish!
Becoming known as the "Storytelling Café" as owner Stephen O'Hara will gladly tell you a wonderful story to go along with delicious food. If you have the opportunity try a scone or breakfast - or in fact just anything - you will be glad you did
It's quirky and Annette and Stephen are lovely they make you feel like you're in their house, so welcoming. The food is all homemade and very good .
The best food in all of Cushendall, would definitely go there again.
I recommend their scones and their bagels. Also amazing bacon.
