Great wee coffee shop if you’re stopping off in Culross. The big bacon butty was cooked to perfection, the bread was fresh and soft and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The coffee was also delicious. Service was great from the young man who served us.
We went there at the weekend and the place was busy, what is great for a local cafe. The food was good, homemade, we ordered mac and cheese and stovies. Both dishes were tasty but just slightly warm, not hot, and mac & cheese was without garlic bread, and there was no cheese on the top of the mac. We've been served by nice young girls, but one of them was so busy that half of a dish landed from plate onto table. Lovely, atmospheric place, cakes look delicious. Only the music from the radio was very loud and tiring, just what young people listening 🤣
The lady who I think was the manager was so pleasant! we popped in for coffee and a sandwich it was lovely and our dog was delighted with the bit of bacon they brought him, will definitely be back.
Popular cafe situated in the centre of Culross, above the pottery gallery. Food is good and staff friendly. There is a nice area for outdoor seating which is a great sun trap on a nice day.
Well what can I say very accommodating. 16 of us From the callander menderes on an awayday cycling from Alloa turned up and we were fitted in . Our server Alex ? Not sure if that's what his name is , bacon butty was divine service was great loved the banter with "Alex" will definitely visit again 😊❤️
Cute little Cafe, we stopped on our tour. I got a mocha, friends got tea. Tea was very hot and they seemed to enjoy it. The only complaint was the spice cake was a wee bit dry but the sponge cake LOOKED moist and delicious from sneaking peaks at others plates 😅. Pet friendly, which I enjoyed since I don't have a pet myself. I asked and was allowed to pet one of the dogs 😊 overall good experience!
This is a lovely cafe in the middle of the lovely village of Culross. The food was tasty and the coffee good. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful even though we arrived with a large group including children on a drizzly day! This is a village that I will return to and I can say the same for the biscuit cafe.
This is a local cafe for us and it is always very busy, so best to try and get there early. The food is really very good, can highly recommend the bacon buttie, huge sandwich. And of course we always go for our waffles and warm chocolate sauce. It is a very cosy cafe with plenty of choices and plenty of cakes to choose from, although if you leave it too late they could all be gone. Recommend a visit.
Small homely place for lunch good food nice staff very busy outside seating as well,dog friendly be really nice in the summer. Small gift shop down the stairs.
A great place for coffee and cake or a light lunch - or both! Big enough to have a good chance of getting seated but small enough to feel cosy. Staff are lovely and friendly also.
Nice little café above a little shop in a picturesque village. Service was excellent, lovely staff. We only had scones and hot drinks, but looking at other people's orders, the food looks good. Coffee was ok and the scones were great, although the cream wasn't clotted cream, which was a shame. The hot chocolate was very poor, very weak. Overall though, a pleasant visit.
Had a quick lunch during a run out to beautiful Culross. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. Food was lovely.
Please be aware that there is a flight of stairs to gain access to the cafe and these may make access difficult for those who cannot manage them.
Friendly service. Coffee is tasty once it's warmed up. Worth asking to get it extra hot. Cake selection is excellent.
