Husband and I turned up at bilash with no booking, place was rammed, however gentleman on reception assured us a table in 30 mins, service was fantastic, extremely attentive, talked through the various menu options, made good recommendations. We had set menu food was outstanding. Highly recommend the reataurant. We will definitely be back
Having recently moved to the area we'd been wanting to try Bilash a few times but have stuck to places on JustEat out of sheer laziness. Tonight I decided to wander along to order to take home and boy, why didn't I do this from day one!?
The owner (Numan?) was very friendly and welcoming. He talked to me about the local area and we had a few things in common. I even mentioned it was my birthday today and he gave me a free bottle of beer while I waited for my food. Thank you for that! �
Then the food... wow! The garlic chips were beautiful and next time we'll take up your recommendation of throwing some chillis in. The naan breads were cooked to perfection and the main meals were nicer than any take away we've had from restaurants on JustEat.
We will most definitely be back for our take aways in future and also to sit in at some point with the toddler. I apologise in advance if she trashes the place though! �
We visited The Bilash Restaurant on recommendation and we were definitely not disappointed. The owner and staff on our arrival were very friendly and welcoming, it was a lovely atmosphere and the food was 5 star. We would certainly return on our next visit to Whitley Bay and would certainly recommend. It was a delightful evening from the start to the final handshake from the owner on leaving.
Food was amazing, the meat melted in your mouth. Will definitely be going here again. Friendly welcome, amazing atmosphere. Hidden gem.
Had a take away from here last week and all I can say is wow!! Been going here off and on for years and this was by far the best we've had, absolutely beautiful so thankyou xx

Out of all the Indian restaurants nearby, this has to be my favourite. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is absolutely excellent. Try the paneer tikka jalfrezi; you won't regret it!
This is by far the best place to eat if your looking for a friendly atmosphere,superb service and undoubted the best Indian food money can buy!!!!
I've been going to the Bilash for almost 25 yrs. All of our family, and friends love the Bilash as we do.
The food is 1st class. They have been known to change ingredients to suit a customers requirements. Numan and his staff are wonderful and treat all of their customers with respect and kindness. When you go in your welcomed as a friend. We never consider going to another restaurant ...The Bilash is our No. 1.
Had a meal here tonight for my brother in laws 40th and it was amazing food was excellent it was hot fresh and full of flavour staff were excellent too very attentive made sure our drinks were topped up and very friendly we were there 3 hours and not once did we feel rushed unlike other places if I could give more than 5*I would had a very good night x

Amazing .. They were busy with deliveries but the gap between courses was very refreshing to what you usually see in most restaurants now a days - we waited no longer than 10-15 mins between courses and no way deterred from the service and meal we experienced which was 5/5 on both counts!

The best and most authentic Indian cuisine I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, tasty menu and the most awesome flavours that just make you want to keep going back for more. Well done to all the staff and chefs. Superb.
Good food, pleasant staff and great ambience. The manager and all the staffs were very friendly and pleasant. Very good customer service. Really liked the lamb chopsticks, naga wings and chom chom chicken.
just a wonderful Indian resturants, staff are 10/10 and the food is amazing, normally I get the fish curry which is 10/10 and if you don't know what you want the staff are so helpful, I been coming here for almost a decade they have massively improve the decor of the resturant too, oh pictures of my very spicey chicken wings, it was dare I did it, I eat it, I survived hahaha. Make sure you call and book a table can get very busy in weekend, they do deliveries too, and all humans must try the BILASH CHIPS
I came back to the Bilash for the first time in a long time last night with a friend and was immediately reminded how good the food is, the ambience and the service from the staff was also excellent. Highly recommended.

On arriving at the bilash Indian restaurant in Cullercoats I was greeted by the friendly staff. It is 2 minutes walk from Cullercoats metro station. A local bus service runs close by or you can drive and park close by or walk like I did. The food was well worth the price, I went on the special night. Although it was £2 more than it advertised on - line. Good food good value for money, clean and tidy restaurant and toilets. Unfortunately no room for wheelchair access and no accessible toilets but when I queried this the staff said they were try and help to get them in. I found the staff went out the way to help me decide what I wanted from the menu. I asked what was in couple of dishes and they were more than happy to advise me. I didn't book on the night I went but went early enough to get a seat but it filled up quick, maybs because it was special night. Bilash do deliver as well, they do have seating area upstairs for larger bookings. I have been before and will definitely be back. I have already recommended to my friends and family 😊 x

They have authentic Indian, Sri Lankan, Bangladesh food. Also they have English food as well. Nice and calm while my visit. Owners is also nice and friendly. Staff is also helpful and kind. They have a Thali wich comes with so many varieties of dishes.

Well this place is a hidden Gem. Its really nice inside. Staff are very friendly and helpful. OMG the food is divine. My favourite thing is the Bilash Roll. Never tasted anything as good as that.

Just had the gyros, tray with spicy chips and I can hands down say it was the best I've ever had, the flavours were mouthwatering. The service when I went in to collect my food was outstanding. Everyone was very polite. I would recommend to anyone who loves Indian food. I will be back.
Went as a party of 12 celebrating a 40th birthday. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating to our requests. Made to feel very welcome. Food was really good and we would definitely visit again. Thanks for a wonderful 3 hours of amazing food!
We had a lovely meal last at Bilash. The food was delicious, the restaurant was light, airy and clean. The staff were so attentive and very friendly. A real gem of a restaurant, which we would highly recommend.
We will visit again when we are next in the area.
Had a superb meal here with my wife. The lamb chops in tamarind sauce were absolutely fantastic, some of the best I have ever had.
Service is excellent too. We will definitely be back in the not-too-distant future.
