Nice cafe, just off the sea front. Lovely staff, good coffee and hot chocolate. Very good Almond, orange and black cherry cake. All at a reasonable price. Point knocked off because they forgot we ordered cake. Worth a visit.

Breakfast stop, had the traditional fry up with haggis. Absolutely delicious, quality ingredients prepared with care. I'm not a baked bean lover but theirs are homemade, really good. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, great atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the menu explanation of the different coffees. A fantastic find. Enjoyed it so much, we went back a few hours later for cake and tea. The orange, almond and passion fruit slice in the photo is gluten free as well.

We were fortunate enough to find this gem of a cafe with 2 days of our Tyneside trip left so ate breakfast on both days, it was without doubt the best breakfasts we had eaten, the atmosphere was cozy and the place had a lovely vibe about it, the coffee was hot and delicious. A big shout out to the young chap who served us who`s name we unfortunately never got but thank you for making us feel so welcome

Boatyard was lovely find just a stone's throw from my favourite beach and coffee house! The all day breakfast wasn't cheap, but gives a real unique homemade offering to Cullercoats. The fresh juices are also a must (especially if you're nursing a hangover), and sitting outside to watch the dozens of pooches walk past was an extra treat. This place can get VERY busy on peak days, so be prepared to wait if the weather is nice.

Fab brunch. Short staffed on the day we visited but still had great service and delicious brunch. Our dog enjoyed her breakfast from the doggy menu too!

Wonderful cosy place. Often very busy and understandable as the food and drinks were delicious! We went for the eggs Benedict and the burger. Would have liked more hollandaise on the eggs Benedict as the sour dough was quite hard (just my opinion!) but overall was very tasty. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Delicious food - avocado on sourdough for breakfast. Staff are super friendly and love dogs and even have a dog menu . Waffles had sausage and scrambled egg - waited patiently for his order too !

Loved this little cafe. It was super busy so we sat outside in the sunshine. We had coffee and brownies (best coffee brownie ever!) which were all perfect. There was a lovely lunch menu which I will definitely check out next time with plenty of veggie and vegan options.

Absolutely beautiful food, all freshly cooked and most of it locally sourced. I had the stottie with sausage and bacon. It was so tasty and filling. Service is brilliant, all the staff were fantastic but the new manager, Scott, is so attentive and genuinely warm and friendly. The atmosphere this creates is just perfect. The music although not intrusive is excellent and fits well with the vibe of the place. Well done, sure it will get even better in the future!

Absolutely amazing plant based breakfast and spiced pumpkin latte this morning. The umami vegan sausage and homemade beans are just fantastic! The cafe just gets better, the food is always impeccable and the staff are very attentive. Keep up the great work and thank you for wonderful service.

Nice little cafe just back from the seafront which has friendly and efficient staff. It's a small space and so can feel busy at times but they have a nice little terrace outside as well. The food was good and the real highlight was the coffee which was rich, strong and full of flavour. The only let down was the two cakes we took away Both were sweet but didn't have any discernable flavour.

Went this morning with family who were visiting. Nothing was too much trouble adding items as requested and serving up piping hot and cooked beautifully. Couldn’t fault anything but I must say my banana bread was simply the best. We will be back. Thank you.

I had stopped going here as the service was dreadful and food became hit and miss. Decided to give it another go today after months of not going and so glad I did. Under the new management of Scott and his team we were blown away by the friendly welcoming service, like night and day to how it was previously. And the food was just a delight. Thank you!! We will be back again soon.

Delicious food and lovely staff. Pretty quick service with quite a bit of outdoor seating. Visited midday on a Friday and was fairly busy, can imagine it gets packed on a Saturday.

Came in for brunch with a few friends. Had to wait for about 20 mins for a table due to the places popularity. Coffee was really good and the breakfasts we had were all full of high quality ingredients. A couple of questionable choices let the place down, such as butter and sauce all having to be requested, eggs came poached as standard when you might expect fried, and coriander in the baked beans (please, no). Service and Atmos were lovely. Sausages were peak.
