Went for an impromptu drive and drink and found this lovely little gem of a pub with an amazing view out the front! Staff are absolutely lovely! Can't comment on food as I didn't have any but if the amount of effort was put into food as it was to being welcoming it would definitely be 5*!! Will defi
Popped in with our 2 dogs for Sunday lunch. Staff were very friendly. Had 2 roast beef dinners which were super delicious 😋 Proper tasty gravy too! No idea about desserts as were way too full. Gardens were lovely, plenty of parking & places to walk the dogs after. The toilets were clean & accessible
Really lovely pub. Great atmosphere. Good sized garden area with panoramic views from the front over Kent countryside. Cosy inside seating with lovely ambience. Good quality food - fish & chips seemed a popular choice with other patrons. We had baguettes - still very tasty. Would thoroughly recommen
Nice countryside pub with the huge beer garden area. Decent selection and nice events.
Popped in for a quick bite to eat and drink on a beautiful Sunday lunch time. Beautiful gardens, plenty of places to sit in or out of the shade. Quick, helpful and friendly service ( even in the heat ). Good 'pub grub ' menu, good selection of beers. Big car park and right next door to a big park wi
My first visit. I live too far away. But an excellent pint of Wainwright and very good food all served by Louise who was lovely. An update. I left my waterproof behind. They kept it for me to collect today. Very pleasant chat with the woman behind the bar and a great pint of Boltmaker. It’s a bit fa
Booked a table for early Saturday evening. Service starts at 6pm. All the meals chosen were of a high standard for pub grub. Good variety to choose from Didn’t give a five only due too a pause between main and desert order taking. They just got busy at that time It didn’t spoil ou
Lovely lunch at the pub today. Great service, friendly and welcoming staff. Good food. Highly recommend a visit. Beautiful flowers 💐 😀
Best country pub in the area. Consistently busy. If you want to eat in you need to book. Mediterranean tart was delicious. Roasts were substantial and apple pie was a classic. Wonderful community pub.
Wasn’t sure what to expect and used this as base for starting and ending walk in Cudham and was very much impressed by the food (lasagne), service (it was busy but the staff were attentive) and atmosphere (everyone quietly enjoying themselves). Flowers potted everywhere were beautiful!
Typical English pub where they serve delicious beers and of course fish & chips!
Friendly local pub, ideal place to start and end circular walks through the Kent countryside. Good beers, many options on the food menu, all provided with an excellent & prompt service
Had a lovely afternoon here . First time . Just arrived as lunch was finishing . The chef still cooked for us as we were going to hang on for dinner . Very grateful as we were hungry. Lovely friendly atmosphere and staff were really nice too . Will be back
