Friendly staff, with great service thank you! My calzone and side salad were perfect! My wife's salmon perfectly cooked!
Really enjoyed my experience here. Very easy to get hold of on the phone, table booked without issue. Promptly sat to our table and provided water without having to ask 👍🏿. Drinks order taken and brought back quickly. Just enough time given to look over the menu, although I'd already decided before
Randomly found this gastropub close to an AirBnB we were staying.
It was a late lunch but we were hungry. The service was prompt and polite, by the end more friendly too (probably because we're quite friendly people)
The pub was fairly quiet, maybe five other tables with eating customers.

So definitely not a place to sit and chat and take time over a meal. But if you have a relative or friend you have to see (rather than want to see), it is a perfect location.

First time visiting the Wood Grill and was very impressed not only by the service but the quality of the food.
The ambience was very nice, subtle music whilst enjoying a lovely evening.

This is a lovely out of the way place to go to. It was a week night when we went and it was very busy.
