This is a new coffee shop, and is first rate. Big, open light and airy, with plenty of room, and an outside courtyard which promises to be great come summer. Friendly staff serving excellent coffee! Will be going back frequently.

Stylish and relaxed atmosphere, I was actually Impressed with the decor that subtly nods to the heritage of Croydon as a commuter town.the staff were great, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly able to make a really good coffee. This place kicks the hell out of hightstreet coffee shops

Brilliant coffee and food. Always a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The courtyard garden is a wonderful little retreat. The best coffee shop in Croydon by far.

The pumpkin spice latte was really nice, not as over and overpowering as at Starbucks. The decor and vibe of the place is really nice. Really hope they do well and stay here long-term.

Lovely chilled cafe to visit after work. Was looking for a place for a hot drink while I waited for a friend and decided to give this place a go. Really relaxing music and decor. My mocha was perfect and banana bread; soft and delectable. I definitely plan on stopping by again!

Not quite sure how I have missed this place having lived in Croydon for over 20 years. First visit today. Excellent coffee and range of teas - not to mention the banoffee hot chocolate. Very good service and the guy brought the food over. It was so clean and the courtyard was very stylish but maybe a bit cold today.

Edit: it's much better these days. * Must try harder. I have visited 5 times, but will be going back to Caffè Nero now. Staff often need to be alerted to the fact someone is waiting in the queue. They are personable and friendly but seem to lack experience in retail. The coffee tastes excellent and they offer a range of alternative milks, although on a few occasions the wrong order was fulfilled and it had to be remade. What deserves a special mention is that on two occasions a caffeinated coffee was made when a decaff was asked for. I am not highly sensitive to this, however beware if this is a mistake you cannot afford to have happen to you, that the staff may not be trustworthy enough to take care of this for you yet. The Mac and Cheese I had was tasty and a good sized portion (bigger than prêt) but at 5.50 a little pricey. However, the grapes (1.99 to eat in) were unwashed and there was a white fungus growing on one of them and the stems left in others. Further, every pot of grapes had a different amount in - clearly they don't pay enough attention to consistently weigh them out. As they were dirty I had to take them to the toilet to rinse them thoroughly in the sink. Although they have a loyalty scheme I have never once been asked if I am part of it or would like to join. They have a great and tasty selection of desserts. They have air conditioning but this seems to be on even when it means a very cold breeze blows on you if you're silly enough to sit at the 2 person tables in the middle of the left wall as you enter. The Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable to the point I had to leave because it couldn't facilitate working on it. Web pages would frequently stop loading, and unfortunately I get no mobile coverage on my work phone (EE) or personal (Three) either. -- Overall I think most of the parts are there but the problem lies in the inexperienced staff, the lack of attention to detail when it comes to making drinks or preparing the food, or investing in a solid Internet connection.

Fantastic place, nice interior and lovely “courtyard” :) The coffe was amazing (we tried the pumpkin spice and banoffee latte) both was delecious. We tried the biscoff cake as well, it was delecious too. The staff is really kind and helpful. Thanks for everything :)

We took our 4 children for Hot chocolate After Christmas shopping was so warm and friendly with amazing staff quick service was perfect for us. It's so open and spacious my favourite part of this coffee shop is the quiet courtyard ( you wouldn't think you were in the middle of central Croydon I can't wait to enjoy my summer lunches there I think it's one of the only lunchtime spots in Croydon to have its own garden :) my husband now goes every Day to grab his lunch and morning coffee. Also had a great spot of brunch in the instagrammable courtyard!

I discovered this new place a few weeks ago. I must say the quality of the coffee and the treats is so good, even better than in other coffee shops like Nero or Costa. They have donoughs, caramel bubble wraps, etc. I highly recommend the spicy chai latte and the chocolate brownie. Not just the quality is so good is also slightly cheaper than Nero and Costa. The free internet wiki works very well. The toilet is very clean. The staff is kind and dedicated. The place is well looked after. There is a patio at the rear which is great for the warm days. I very much recommend this place.

Good little place to work or have a chat with mates alike. Tried the turmeric latte - it was pretty good (if a bit on the pricey side). Staff are really friendly, the music isn’t too loud and their courtyard outside looks great for sunny days.

My 1st time in here in this cafe as a new place, seems lots of news places popping up all over Croydon I am finding out about, coffee is good and they have a garden out the back, which I presume smokers like me can use and have coffee at same time. My only criticism would be that the lighting is quite bright.. I normally like darkened areas to chill out with laptop and write over a coffee... Other than that it's a lovely cafe to come in.. Priced OK, sandwiches seem a little high could go slightly lower as compared to other cafes in Croydon... Cans of coke expense at £1.20. Cappuccino at £2.25 for medium but ok. Nicely decorated, free WiFi to sign up to for those with no data and want free WiFi...

This place does the most amazing coffees ever. Better than costa in my opinion, very fast service and always friendly in there. Normally when I get my hair done, I pop in beforehand and grab a quick drink. If you ever do get the chance to pop in then ask for a mango and white chocolate frappe Oh my god this has to be one of the nicest combinations ever, and this was recommended to me by one of the staff members after they had ran out of raspberry syrup now I cannot get enough and my bank balance has been slightly depleted because of this but this is a good thing as I haven't been anywhere that has been able to recommended something to me after they have ran out of something.
