Visited recently after seeing a post on Facebook. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and me and my friends went through the cocktails! Staff were friendly and enjoyed the boxing! Will be back for a lunch date soon.
What a good experience we just had. The food was excellent, the prices were fair and the portions of the dishes were plentiful.

Haven't been in for a while now but popped in today with a buddy & we both really liked what we found, the staff where very friendly, the all day breakfast was lovely (decent price too) and worked off food with a bit of sport on the pool table of which there's not too many left in the town centre...
What a little gem of a pub, the place is clean and tidy, the staff seem really nice. I loved the music selection, such a lovely atmosphere.. I went for a burger and waffle fries, it was sooooo tasty.. keep up the good work market tavern 👌🏼
Just ate here and felt like I had to write a review because the service was so good!! I had the quorn buttermilk chicken with curry sauce and chips and it was delicious. The lady that served me was so kind and friendly, she made me feel so welcomed. I’ll be coming back to try the cauli wings!!

Good beer, good selection to choose from and good food; but the best nights are when Gill is working. Great service, and so lovely to speak to and gets to know everyone personally to provide the best service. An absolute asset to the place.
