First time ordering and it’s now going to be my “go to”. Food was fresh, hot and so delicious. Probably the best fish and chips I’ve had. Fish had FLAVOURS, and you can’t beat proper chip shop chips with lots of salt and vinegar.. will 10000% be ordering again
If you are looking for some great fish and chips, you should definitely stop here. Big portions for the money and the food was very tasty. I talked to the owner while I was here and he was really friendly and inviting.
Ordered cod and chips. Both very tasty and not greasy at all. Very much enjoyed the meal. Friendly service too. I don't live in the area but if I come back I'll visit again.

Been coming here since I was 6 - probably earlier too. Always great. Have always come back when the time was there, whether living in Lincolnshire, Kent, or Canada.
Had lunch here. Staff were polite and friendly. The cod had a nice crispy batter and the inside was succulent. Premises were clean. Would definitely visit again next time I'm in the Croydon area.
Lived in the area all my life, first time ordering from Mr.chippy and i can confidently say ill be a regular! The fish was absolutely delicious. So fresh. Good size portion of well cooked chips to go with. Lovely food!
Best chips ever, shame they discontinued their Southern fried chicken was the only thing I was buying this place it was so tasty!! Hopefully they bring it back in the future.

I have been to this shop a few times and love the food they have a good selection of food although I've only had the fish & chips which were very tasty and reasonably priced. Also I must add that the workers there are very friendly and have good customer service they take good care of customers. Hig
Favourite local fish and chips place. The crispy batter and freshness of Haddock, it never disappoints me. Chips are sometimes stale, hard and old, but when they’re cooked in new oil, they do taste the best. I’d suggest to not wrap hot fish in paper as it can sweat and ruin the crispness of fish. T
