Phoned yesterday morning as oil light came on ‘too much oil’ was told to bring in car the following morning around 8am.
Arrived at 815am, my car was looked at within 5 minutes.
The mechanic drained 1.5L of oil out my car for me, checked it was all okay before handing me the keys.
The staff were really helpful, the mechanic was amazing and I am forever grateful for the service I received.

It was first time I've used Halfords Autocentre Croydon and like all first timers you get worried. I had taken my Volvo v40 for MOT& Service. After 3 hours my MOT & service was completed. Not only was i pleased with the turn round time in completion. But the friendly and welcoming staff felt like I've known the garage for years. In addition, I was offered money off which was a real bonus. Big thank you to Ben, Paul & Billy. I will be back and hope to see you guys soon in my next Mot & Service schedule.
Came in after my GLE failed its MOT at Mercedes and was advised I needed two new tyres. Halfords Croydon were brilliant & honest one tyre needed doing, the other did not. Took back to Mercedes for its MOT, advised the above from halfords and it passed surprisingly! They saved me a fair bit of money so thank you!
Excellent service all round. Called to get my A/C re gassed, and they were able to fit me in the same day. Really friendly and helpful customer service. Will definitely go back in the future and recommend to others.

After years of being conned as a female doing her MOT, I've trussed this garage for the last 3 years with both service and MOT and could not have been happier with their services. Honest, great customer service and great banter! I'd highly recommend.
Took my car for MOT and service . Reasonable price but as always they find something that needs fixing . 2 new tyres needed too. So not that cheap in the end , but needed to be done. Car returned same day , but had to go back as they didn't have the two tyres I needed. All being said I would go there again , one small complaint is that they say they will call you but my experience was I had to call them. But some say I'm a little impatient , so no biggie.
Great service from everyone here! Car was booked in for an MOT but I had faulty wiring for one of my lights, the guys let us drop the car in early so they could fix it up and could pass. Amazing service, and great work :)
It was my second time getting MOT done at Halfords(Stafford Road). Handed over the car 10 mins before the appointment and it took 1hr 20 mins for the test to complete. There is a waiting area and a business centre (pod) which I believe is for people those who want to use laptops and work while waiting for MOT/Car repair. Price wise I think they are very competitive especially when you compare with BMW authorised centres/Showrooms.
If you leave your car there at the garage, I believe they will call you as soon as the test is complete and although I was there on site, I received an email confirmation saying that the car is ready for collection and another email following that with an invoice and health certificate. I also received a printed copy of the certificate. Overall a good experience and I will certainly use them again.
Originally booked a service online, however, there was an error and it hadn't gone through properly. The staff in office were considerate and double checked with another branch, who confirmed it was not booked there also. The staff were friendly and helpful and were able to book a new slot 2 days later. The service was completed timely and confirmation of the completed works came through via email and a call from the main garage. Would definitely recommend and book with them again.
Excellent service from the 2 members of staff at the center. The car was booked in for a service and MOT, I had concerns about the brakes and tyres, which I voiced as I didn`t want to pay for a fail on the MOT. The staff reassured me that they would look at the car for me and let me know if either needed replacing.
Lots of other garages would have have replaced the tyres and even brakes just because I had raised it, but not Halfords. I was really pleasantly surprised when I got the call to say the car was ready to collect. Very impressed that I only needed to pay for what actually needed to be done at the time. Thank you.
Booked my MOT online for two hours time - really easy to book and pay for the service and plenty of choice. Arrived at the centre and there is plenty of parking available. Easy check-in - handed over the keys - obviously the downside during these Covid restricted times is that you can't wait inside and having wandered along the parade of shops opposite, there wasn't a cafe to get a coffee in either! in any event the wait was only one hour (I'd arrived 20 minutes before the test was planned anyway) and they have a tracking facility on the App so you can see the progress. All in all an easy pleasant experience.
