We went for lunch and left as happy customers.
The food was authentic and delicious and not oily at all.
Staff were pleasant and friendly and the meal was reasonably priced.
We had the curry laksa and fried noodles.
We would definitely come back and try other things on the menu.

Excellent Malaysian Food. Definitely worth the trip to Croydon. They’ve moved from their previous Whitgift venue. Their card machine was broken so there was a cash or bank transfer option.
My husband had Nasi Lemak and I had Hainan Chicken Rice. Taste was okay and my portion is huge. Friendly service.

Went there expecting to find the previous Japanese restaurant, gave it a try anyway and I was not disappointed. They just relocated to these premises and I am sad to say I did not know of their existence in Whitgift before. I will return for sure. The food smelled divine, tasted amazing, the portion

I must say, I'm now a fan of Hainan chicken.

Terrific Malaysian cuisine. The curry laksa (ie curry mee) is especially great. We've just come back from Malaysia and can say that Uncle Lim's is authentic, really tasty food and we highly recommend a visit! We'll be back for sure.
