This place is amazing!
Portuguese food all the way! One of the best roasted chicken that I ate outside Portugal... In fact the best one... I think everybody should try it at least once.
The space itself is pretty cool to... Very cosy. Great to go with friends and have a great time with great food.
CLUCK!. Before I left England this was my fave nandos, always good service, good chicken, good prices, clean and a great meeting place for everyone! refillable drinks and nice desserts too :)

Having only just discovered Nando's, this is a great place if you are in a hurry and want great tasting food at the same time. A simple idea that works - a fast food place that is a nice place to be! Yummy!

Nando's, I love it..... Let me say one thing, I hate fast food, I can't stand it, I would rather eat my own eyes than choose to eat a MuckDonalds or equivalent. But sometimes, a combination of beer, hunger, and convenience I sometimes have to pull out the fork, pluck out my eyes and then march into a BK and ask them to microwave them and pop them in a bun.
Then along came Nando's and I suddenly realized that the hot spicy REAL chicken was far nicer than eating my own eyes, and now, 99 time out of 100 if I want some fast food, I will usually go into a Nando's.
I believe there recipe for success is the fact they keep things simple. All they do is Chicken, and they do it well. (They do offer a veggie option too, just in case) And it looks like a REAL bit of chicken and not a whole animal that's been shoved through a blender and made into a patty.
Nando's in my book is brilliant, and I hope a lot more fast food places will open up and take on the similar ethos. I really don't mind spending an extra few quid for quality. And Croydon High Street, is my favorite Nando's of them all.

Day / time - Sun morning
Food - Spiced Chickpea Wrap. Nothing special but completely edible.
Noise - Very quiet, we went at 1130 when the restaurant opened so we were the first people there.
Atmosphere / decor - A standard Nandos. A Standos... I'll see myself out. Pleasant when it's just us and not heaving like usual.
Service - Prompt, friendly.
Parking - No
Price - £10. I only got a wrap.
All well,its our personal favourite chain...taste wise no complaints but the wraps breast fillet grill pieces were too small....so it felt more like a lettuce wrap more than a chicken wrap...

First time at Nando's. I thought it was Mexican, but it actually is a chicken restaurant. I had the butterfly fillet of chichen with rice and corn on the side. The sides were good, the chicken a bit on the dry side. But the sauce largely made up for it, as did the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Good enough to give it a second chance, but next time I'll try something else than the fillet.
Excellent service from staff and manager, accidentally knocked over my beer at the counter and was given replacement plus extra, and food came quick and was delicious, highly recommended.
We have been here quite a lot of time. And our favorite option for two is one full meal platter with four sides. It's very delicious, specially the whole chicken. We really liked the medium one. Among sides I personally liked garlic bread and mashy potato. Rice and Peri Peri chips were good too. I would recommend to go for extra hot hot sauce with this platter. Service was great. This restaurant location is near to the Croydon market-Whitgift Center. So this is a good option to try, if feeling hungry.
Went here yesterday for a late lunch and was happy to see that there was no wait time and we were immediately seated. The place was well organized, the sauce bottles clean and sufficient in number and clean cutlery. I wanted to try the new items they introduced in their menu and ordered for the chicken thighs in pitta bread with piri chips and garlic bread as sides. Food came out quick and hot and I loved all of it! Unfortunately, the veg menu was not all that great and needed seasoning and more flavour (had taken the halloumi cheese and mushroom burger with peas and grain sides). The staff were a bit aloof, which was odd but probably because of the time of the day. Nevertheless, I would like to come back for the chicken.

What can go wrong at Nandos, I've been to a few but this one gets the first of many to come. Brilliant staff, amazing people, great food. When in Croydon and needing a peri-fix, where else to go but the original kings.
I really like this Nandos. It is located quite centrally, the service is really fast and the staff are pleasant. The atmosphere is also what you expect from a good nando's. Occasionally, the sauces are not stocked up and it takes a while to order.

Been to this place on 30th December. Place was fully packed. Super friendly staff members quickly sorted the sitting arrangement for us. Ordering process was easy going. Food taste really nice, tender Chicken and Kumara fries were great. Overall I am happy with my decision to go to this place for dinner.
Just wanted to say a big massive thank you to Ellie our server at Nandos croydon today , she made us feel at home right away and was so lovely and chatty, I hope the nandos values her hard work and customer service xxx
Great meal food was okay could been better with chicken fries were bit over cooked. Service was okay . Will go there again
The Croydon High Street branch is definitely the BEST, excellent food and service; while the Canary Wharf has nothing to do
with Croydon's food standard, anemic, tasteless chicken.
