Lovely Caribbean restaurant, great portions, good variety, tasty food, great friendly service and good arrived quickly.
Reggae music on the background was lovely. I took my hubby and he loved it too!
Drinks were awesome! 🍸 🧉
Visited the Dutchie for lunch at Croydon with some friends. The food came in good portions and was very tasty. The various types of chicken wings were all delicious. I ordered the lobster as a main dish, which I felt was a bit over cooked and too chewy, and the shell was hard to crack as it was not brittle. They were accommodating about changing fries to rice as an accompaniment. Cocktails were 2 for 1 at the time we went, so that was a good deal. The food was reasonably priced, and the staff were polite. They were happy to provide a container for left overs for take away. I loved the decor with the tricolours of red, gold, and green, and the graffiti. The music was great comprising of reggae and 90s r'n'b. It would be easier to find the restaurant if there is a sign at the entrance of the Arcade pointing to The Dutchie as it can easily be missed. Overall, it was a good experience.
The food at this restaurant is so yummy. The portion sizes are huge and worth the price! The cocktails are really good too. Only thing is sometimes the service can be a bit slow but it’s worth it.
I have been here many time the food here really nice not to mention their 241 cocktail that they do everyday. The staff are really friendly. I do prefer this one compared to the one in Camberwell. Definitely come here
I love The Dutchie. Last week was my first visit in a while and it didn't disappoint. The food is consistently good which is why I love it. Baxfood, even though prices have gone up, is very good value for money.
5* all the way.
Was able to get a table for 10 almost immediately after a disastrous booking a few doors down at Turtle Bay.
The food was spectacular, and the cocktails were gorgeous! Customer service was impeccable. Ambience was lovely, and tunes had us all bopping our heads. (Quieter than usual, but it was a Tuesday evening.)
3rd or 4th time here, and I haven't had a bad thing to say ever!
Good carribean food. I had the curry goat. Reminds me of Maltese rabbit. Friendly service. Hope to return some day.
I returned 4 years later. It's still a good restaurant. I had the chickpea curry and fried plantain
Very spicy but very good ❤️
One of the Best Caribbean Restaurants I have eaten at in London. Food was very nice. Very flavourful and the Oxtail was Sweet. Great aptmosphere with reggae music playing in background. Nice Caribbean feel to the restaurant and staff are friendly too. Will definitely be back again soon.👍🥂🍽💃🏽🙋🏾♀️🍹
I absolutely love the food here, the jerk chicken, festivals, and the sides are incredibly tasty! Just the service is awful, it’s SO slow and a couple times we had to physically get up and go ask for some service. It’s also quite uncomfortable as the servers are quite moody, not very friendly and they genuinely just seem disinterested in serving you, this makes going to eat and sitting in there very awkward. Shame really as the food is delicious!
