We started by sharing some large, juicy and subtlety spiced King Prawns . Served on a sizzling platter with onions they were a good introduction to the delights to come.

If there were 10 stars, I would have given that to the service. The waiter Sarvana had excellent etiquettes. Starting from showing the table, asking about allergies, your order, being on toes for anything, smiling and welcoming attitude everything gave a superb experience along with the food. The restaurant has decent ambience and a neat and clean washroom too. It is located just 15min walking from East Croydon Station. Food: I ordered veg rawa masala Dosa and I asked for some raw onions in it if possible. The waiter asked me back for instructions again that do I want them separate in plate or on the top or inside the Dosa half fried kind of. Be instructed the chef accordingly and it was prepared like that. Taste was awesome. Quantity was good. 5 star for the chef Chandru as well for incorporating customers request along with such a crispy and delicious rava masala Dosa. Will definitely again eat here someday more south indian food.

While walking to my home, I was so hungry that I saw the Banana Leaf South Indian Restaurant. I went and visited the restaurant. The manager and staff Carry the customer very respectfully and friendly. The food is very delicious & tasty foods are only provided in the restaurant. The staff provided the first menu card for me and they talked friendly and respectfully. I saw a menu card there are so many main courses . I have ordered one paper dosa and gulab jamun palin. The chef and staff provided within 15mins. I had the gulab jamun It's very sweet and tasty and i have tasted paper dosa It's very tasty to eat and.The foods are very super and delicious 🤤 . They provide tissue in the table It's very neat and clean. The bills are very less. Who is in Corydon please visit and taste the foods in Banana Leaf South Indian Restaurant.

My hubby and I had the most tantalising experience at The Banana Leaf. The restaurant serves authentic Southern Indian food along with Northen and Sri Lankan Dishes. Not only were our carvings satisfied (after vacationing in Europe for 3 weeks), we were impressed with the variety and excellent sevice. We had the Chicken Briyani, Chettinad Chicken and Paper Thosai for lunch and left wanting for more. We decided to go back for dinner as well and had the Kottu Roti which was just amazing. Everything tastes like home cooked food which exactly what we needed. Thank you to the team at the restaurant for making my last 2 days in London the most memorable.

The Banana Leaf is an old favourite of ours so we chose it to celebrate a birthday. The food was mostly delicious but we forgot the onion bhajis are nothing like the typical ones you get at an Indian restaurant/takeaway. They've got such a different taste & texture which we don't like. The service was really slow which wasn't acceptable with only 8 people (2 x tables of 2 & a table of 4) dining. Trying to get a waiter's attention was ridiculously difficult. Still gets a strong 4/5 from us though!

Absolutely superb food; great service: quick and friendly. Atmosphere fine but would be better if there were more people. It certainly deserves more people dining there because this is top, top food

Good quality and taste was amazing. However, if you are lucky they serve you food in 60-90 mins. It’s all depend if you are their priority customer or not. If they have reservation for big group please do not go and get angry on service. They are really struggling with staff and don’t know how to handle multiple customers. The guy on a front desk was struggling with basic English- not very well managed. Although the food was really good but I will not recommend it.

Hidden gem. As a family, we ordered the chettinadu, vindaloo and ginger chicken accompanied by coconut rice, garlic naan and a couple of Cobras. Everything was very flavoursome and the meat quality was great. We all loved the food! The pricing was very fair too for the size and quality. Service was prompt, really friendly and polite. We’ll definitely come here again soon.
