The food and service were outstanding I am very fussy eater but there is such a great choice of dishes so I found something I liked with ease. Very tasty it was too!

The food was phenomenal and the staff was extremely accommodating, cheerful, and helpful. This American will certainly be returning to Wagamama's! Thank you.
The food was phenomenal and the staff was extremely accommodating, cheerful, and helpful, wagamama's! Thank you.
How can I begin to tell you all how much I love this restaurant??? It is my most favourite place in the world. I highly recommend the "gyoza" steamed dumplings & prawn Karilomen... I have to stop myself having the same thing every time!! The noodles are delicious & they have something for everyone. I absolutely love the cheese cakes... Wash it down with a beer or some flowering jasmine tea (so pretty). The staff are so friendly, efficient & welcoming...
Never been before absolutely loved it and the service was brilliant specially our waitress see going again thank u x

Amazing team, food and atmosphere! Definitely to be tried ;)
Florin deserves Employee of The Year - and Amazing Food!
I am a massive Wagamama fan/eater - I have Wagamama about once or twice a week! And have been for years. So I thought i'd try the one at East Croydon... and I always get Katsu curry - but Florin convinced me to try the new healthier katsu chicken, and even offered to replace it with the normal one if i don't like it! He was so friendly and was passionate about the restaurant. I tried it and obviously loved it - found my new favorite dish! :) Thank you Florin for being so great and making the experience wonderful and also giving me the option to try it, and now i will be ordering it all the time.
I am always a fan of Wagamama..fresh crunchy veges with perfect flavour combined with right spices.. wow.. my favourite place to try some eastern cusine.
What makes me even go back to this restaurant again and again, is not only the taste, but the hospitality the service guys offer, the attention they give to the minute details, the portion and the pricing all seems to be perfectly designed for a wonderful experience.
I recommend.
I love Wagamama generally and my first visit to the Croydon branch was pretty consistent with my previous experiences elsewhere.
For my main I had Yasai Yaki Soba - a rare vegetarian dish that didn't feature tofu (I don't like tofu). I substituted the soba noodles for the egg free udon option, and asked for no egg in the dish - leaving me with a tasty, satisfying vegan meal.
On the side I had the wok greens (broccoli and bok choi). Good decision, as the garlic sauce on the vegetables was delicious!
To drink I went for one of the new raw juices - the Blueberry Spice. It was ok, I wouldn't order it again. The taste wasn't bad and it had a nice ginger kick but I wasn't keen on the texture from the blueberry seeds. My companion tried another of the juices, the Positive which was much better - really refreshing and slightly tangy.
Service was good and they now accept payment through the Qkr! app so no hanging around at the end!
My First time to this place and I wasn't very impressed with the ambience. The food however is decent but nothing exceptional. A one time try out is should be on the books but other than that I would give it a very avg rating. Do try the Wagamama Ramen as it's probably the best thing they serve.
Fantastic. I enjoyed the prawn pops and the warm chilli chicken salad. I am not concerned with the order of food delivery and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was fast and friendly Overall I really enjoyed the visit.
One of the better chains. Although the basic seating arrangement of wooden benches, seems to have caught on with quite a few noodle bars, I still dont like it much, the food can vary from bland to brilliant. Take your chance maybe you'll get them on a good night
I have a major soft spot for Japanese cuisine. Give me m ramen, katsu and oigiri and I am a happy girl!. Now Wagamas in Croydon is perfectly located. Just a 3 -5 min walk from 2 different tram stops and a bus stop just 20 steps from there. I love the noddle soups, so filling and warm and lovely. Absolutely perfect for a winter evening. I like the neat decor as well and brightly lit space.
Service was really speedy, even on a busy Saturday night, and the food was first class. Number 48, chicken and prawn noodles. Yum! Definitely coming here again, the menu has so many options that I need to try!
If you're looking for a sophisticated environment to enjoy your Japanese cuisine, beautifully presented, then wagamama is the place you need to visit. They offer the best dishes at reasonable prices; the interior and layout of the restaurant adds to the experience making it more enjoyable. The staff is helpful and always willing to help with any queries if you're unsure about anything regarding your order.
The spicy prawns and rice is a great vegetarian option however for someone that eats spicy food on a daily basis, I was huffing at the spiciness off the dish but enjoyed it thoroughly. They are well known for their katsu curry which works perfectly with the sweet potatoes and aubergines covered in the crispy coating of batter. Presentation plays a big role in attracting someone to what they eat and I feel Wagamama are successful in doing so. Lovely food and good service!
I really enjoy this place great tasting food and you do not feel you are heavy at the end of the meal and I love the little changes they have to the menu during the seasons.
The food was so delicious. Everything tasted so fresh. I had second and third helpings. I enjoyed the pork belly buns so much. And the staff were so helpful and friendly. Will go again.
Nice food and lovely staff when dining in. When I ordered for takeaway the food was still fresh and nice, however I ordered a kids portion size aswell as an adult size and the adult portion was almost the same amount as the kids option! Considering the adult's is twice the price of the kid's it was quite disappointing. Overall great food though.
Chicken fire cracker with soba noodles is my favorite. I'm a regular customer to this place. Someone burned the food a bit though and covered it nicely with the noodles.. cheeky.. Just an odd experience this time. I informed the serving lady about it but no action was taken. So no tip this time. Hope this doesn't happen again.
I ordered the teriyaki beef brisket donburi with a cherry blossom lemonade. If you haven't tried either of them I would recommend quite tasty and refreshing.
First time in this location for a few years and I was really pleased to be back. Got there around 5:30 and it wasn’t busy at all. Food came out really quick and was hot and fresh! Had some chicken lettuce wraps and battered prawns for starters. Both 10/10! For mains I got the firecracker chicken. That was also 10/10. My friend ordered the chicken and prawn fried rice and wasn’t too happy with it as we agreed it tasted alittle bland. All in all we will be back to continue sampling the menu.
Visited recently and the kids loved it. They did have issues with number of waitresses/waiters servicing the restaurant and did apologise for that.
My food was a bit too spicy to my liking and the lady asked me if it was but I did not make a fuss about it.
A simple, friendly neighbourhood restaurant. No need to book, just walk up and enjoy your simple meal.
Lovely wagamama branch! Food tasted amazing. Service probably was my least favourite though from all the branches I’ve been to. I usually get the chilli steak ramen rather than chicken, which i do recommend more.
We got our food, it was so delicious but the chicken dumpling Ramen took a little longer, but everything else was perfect. We ramen
Really nice time, great food - the sake was excellent when paired with the ramen, too! Out with family and had a variety of foods with everyone having thoroughly enjoyed it all - the bang bang cauliflower and chili squid sharing plates were highlights, extremely flavourful. Service was good and the atmosphere is nice. Bit on the expensive side of things for me, but worth it once in a while!
