Yumn brasserie is a Halal European modernistic restaurant with a fusion twist. The menu is diverse, offering classical European dishes, in addition to traditional Eastern cuisine with a modern take. The stunning interior emulates sophistication, stimulating a romantic ambience in an oasis of tranquility. The service was exceptional, providing a personable & friendly service. One of the dishes that were ordered, as depicted by the picture was a medium RARE steak. The outside of the sirloin steak was charred to provide an exquisite smokey flavour, with the inside of the 28 days matured steak being pink & tender; amazing is all I can say. The peppercorn sauce & the twice cooked chips were tremendously good. Not many establishments can master the culinary skills to cook a steak, but Yumn Brasserie prepared it to perfection. The prices match any other fine dining restaurant, but the portion sizes do not. The portions were hearty & generous, & no need for a kebab shop pit stop. This place is for all you adventurous foodsters.
Very nice indeed. We took our parents here for their wedding anniversary. It was a pleasant surprise. 95 percent of what we ordered was just yum. I would recommend staying away from the fusion menu. Everything else was definitely worth trying.
I will be going back here for the duck and marvelous and accommodating service.
We came here for my mothers 60th birthday and the service and food was both amazing. We had Cristina as our waitress and she was fantastic I can’t praise her enough. They even brought out a little cheesecake with happy birthday written on it which was really lovely of them. I will definitely be coming back here again. The mock tails was amazing I had the one with raspberry and pomegranate it was amazing. My siblings had lychee one which was nice but I don’t like lychee much. The food portion was good. I ordered the monk fish which was great. My sister ordered the crispy prawn with kimchi rice and omg that was amazing. I would definitely get that next time I go. There was 7 of us and the bill came for £290 including three mock tails and water. Thanks again Yumn for making the experience memorable and thank you Cristina for your lovely service.
I first came to Yumn when they first opened and absolutely loved it so became a regular, after moving away I hand my been for a while and heard mixed reviews about them so decided to give them a try today. I have to say I thought the food was really good, the quality was on point and it came in good time. Main thing for me though was the service the staff were attentive and there to help with anything we needed, night was topped of with a free complimentary drink for no real reason.
Definitely worth booking for a night out as a date or with the family.
Had an amazing service here on Mother’s Day, it’s also good to see local businesses doing great 😊 staff was friendly but prompt and timely with orders. Food was delicious 🤤 compliments to the chef. Overall had a good evening with excellent service!
First time visiting Yumn and I was very impressed. If you are not willing to go in to london and need a fine dinning experience similar to those of the high end restaurants, you will not be disappointed. There staff are cheerful and happy to help. The restaurant has a relaxing vibe which is great for a romantic date night. The quality of the food is really good.
Each dish that we order was fresh and really made us appreciate every bite we took. The prawns with the mango tart like dish was different but full of flavour. Absolutely delicious. Everything tasted amazing. I don’t drink but from what i could see at the bar, i was tempted to have a cheeky sip 🤣
Overall great vibe, great food and a great experience. Oh and its HALAL! Amazing!
Adding this restaurant to my go to places. The food was lovely; the cocktails were made by a cocktail master; and the staff were very pleasant. Recommended
We went for an anniversary lunch and it was a delicious meal with excellent service. They even went to the trouble of writing happy anniversary on our plates. Food was full of flavour and nicely cooked. Would definitely go again.
First time at Yumn. AJ, GG and the rest of the crew were very welcoming and polite. It’s a good looking restaurant with a great menu. I wanted at least 5 of the starters as they sounded delicious so will have to go back to try those I didn’t have. Settled on tempura prawns and my friends had the scallops. Good sized portions and all the food was pipping hot. The cocktails were also decent and well-priced and we had a reasonably priced bottle of champagne which was light and refreshing. Will definitely be back.
The service and ambience was outstanding. Food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. Great menu choice. Nice and clean toilets. Very inviting restaurant. Highly recommend.
Very it for a Friday night only an handful of tables taken, but this did mean we had a long dinner and where not rushed which was nice. Would go back food and service was good.
Fantastic place. It is essentially one of Croydon's top end restaurants and the food prices reflect that. However the food is delicious, the service is excellent, the decor is very nice and the cocktails are actually reasonably priced and well presented. Great for special occasions or a cheeky cocktail. They went through a phase of fancy indian dishes in the past but the new menu has excellent variety, although I wish they'd bring the old duck burger back 🙂. We had the aperol spritz, elderflower heaven, cheese souffle, crispy chicken, sea bass, sticky toffee and snickers cheesecake, all of which were excellent.
Myself and my boyfriend visited Yumn for a Saturday brunch. We opted for the bottomless mocktail menu which was very reasonably priced. The drinks were absolutely lovely, Mina the mixologist did a wonderful job mixing! We were even given a very quirky cocktail glass - she made a bespoke drink. Gigi and Tina took care of us and made sure we were very well looked after. The food was absolutely delicious, very well presented and had amazing flavour. I will be raving about this meal for a while and recommending to friends and family. Everything was perfect and I cannot wait to come back with my family and try the rest of the menu. 10 out of 10 for food, service and ambience. Will definitely be back!
Fabulous restaurant! The service is impeccable. AJ and Gigi looked after my partner and I all evening as we celebrated my promotion, and even asked the chef to write congratulations on our dessert!
The food was really impressive and well presented. We had scallops and gyoza to start and a goan curry and lobster for mains. All of which was yum!!
The decor and ambience really added to our evening. A chill soundtrack produced just the right vibe and the interior design and lighting made the place elegant and romantic.
Will definitely be back!
We went there for our 5 yr wedding anniversary. My partner booked a table for 2 two days before hand.
Upon arrival, Christina and another gentlemen with black rounded glasses (didn't get his name) were serving us. They were very polite and helpful. Would like to point out that we asked what made up the sauce of the seabass dish and the had kindly came back to us and let us know. We also asked them to take picture for us, and they were very happy to do it too.
We ordered 1 starter to share, a octopus salad. A main each - a lamb dish and the seabass dish. We also got a dessert on the house! The food was great also gave me some cooking inspirations!! Love the seabass dish, however if the lamb dish can be slight bigger in portion then it would be perfect!!
Overall recommend to eat in this restaurant, especially for special occasion.
I can’t recommend this place enough for a halal Sunday roast - the beef was so flavourful with the gravy and Yorkshire puddings! Definitely my go-to place on a Sunday! Food came out in good time and wonderful desserts/drinks too. Plus, beautiful interior and fantastic staff!
23/02/22 Table 14 The service provided by AJ was absolutely fantastic and exceptional. The food was amazing without a shadow of a doubt. The best part of the meal was the Braised Rib absolutely exquisite and will definitely be coming back again. Thank you
