Small cosy restaurant with mediterranean vibe. Authentic food full of mediterranean flavour. The lamb skank (slow cooked lamb), in particular, deserves special mention. It was quite clear that the recipes are well thought and followed with care. The halloumi, lamb skewer and the hummus were delightful as well. Because of the small size, service felt quite personal. The wine recommendation was also excellent.

Lovely little restaurant, delicious food, nice service. We had a hot meza platter to start, followed by a mixed grill and a lamb gordian knot for mains. All were exceeding tasty, the gordian knot especially was scrumptious... rich flavours and tender lamb. Would've loved a desert but was too stuffed! Will try to save room next time! Croydon is spoilt for great eating establishments these days, buy Anabella's is right at the top of the stack.

The restaurant didn’t appear to be busy when we arrived but we did have to wait quite a long time for our drinks. When they were brought over, we were also given some complimentary delicious toasted bread, olives and balsamic vinegar with olive oil. All were very tasty indeed and I’m very glad that they did give us these, as our mains did not arrive for well over one hour. There may have been a mix up, as the waitress asked if my meze was a main or a starter (after the order had been placed some time before) and we confirmed that all were mains. Even so, it was a very long wait.

Annabella's was chosen by my future sister in law (as it had the best reviews on trip advisor for restaurant in Croydon), for mothers day, and it was a good little spot. There were literally only 4 group tables, and that's all there was room for. Customer service was good and food was delicious although a little dry, but understand that Mediterranean restaurants don't always come with sauce and gravy options. The only thing is the wait time, I guess because the restaurant is so small, their kitchen can't handle the demands of food as quickly as other larger restaurants. We waited for about 45 minutes to an hour (no exaggeration) for our main course to come after our starters. If you are wanting to eat quickly, this is not the place for you and you may have to extend your parking times! I'd say, it makes for a nice romantic and intimate spot.

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Anabella's Kitchen. I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.

This is a very small and cosy Mediterranean restaurant. It almost feels as though you are eating at someone's house. The service was fantastic, professional yet friendly and they always give you complementary Turkish bread and olives to start with. The food is also amazing! Fresh and tasty, again it's like having home cooked food. I'm a regular here and always will be.

WOW. This place is basically on my doorstep and I'm lucky it is as it's by far the best restaurant I have been to in a long long time! The food is fresh, ridiculously tasty and very fairly priced. Best dips and sauces I've ever had and they're made there and then by the chef (s). Bread always fresh and warm. Chicken is AMAZING. But the best thing about Anabella's is the staff - I've lived in Croydon my whole life and never found a staff to be this friendly, warm and attentive (But not too much). No1 in Croydon by far. Go!!

Small but authentic lovely place on high street, covering good set of dishes on the menu. easily miss out your gaze though. Lovely Fresh fish preparation! Starter and salad quantities are a bit small for the pricey menu!

I've been here twice now, lovely little Croydon gem. Fab selection of wine and the food was rustic and delicious. Cozy tasteful restaurant. Good music, lighting and mise en scene. Ideal for groups or to bring a date even

Absolutely amazing service in this place. It's quite small, giving a homely feel - especially with the super friendly service you feel like you've been invited into someone's house. The food was very reasonably priced and large portions. I'd definitely come back.

Great restaurant! Small and cosy. Great for vegetarians and vegans! Big portions, good value. Recommend the vegan platter which includes chips, a salad, falafel, hummus, pickled olives, avocado!

We really like it in here. The meat is cooked nicely and the meze is pretty tasty. We had asked previously whether the Dolma was made by themselves but it's clearly from a tin. Will continue to go back and eat here again and again.
