The Blue Groove is a little gem of a place. A lovely casual relaxing atmosphere, tables inside and outside with umbrellas for the sun, friendly and engaging staff, efficient service, a good menu and great food – that about covers it! Oh…and prices are very reasonable.

We've been enjoying the food and atmosphere of the Blue Groove since it opened and we just love it. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is excellent. Can't think of a better place to chill out after a day in the surf� than here. Our special favourites are the mussels and the Belgium waffle and icecream pudding��. See you soon

We love blue groove! It's the place where we end up at our hols with their amazing breakfast and we also have to have a meal as my son (10) wouldn't forgive us if he couldn't have the chorizo and butter bean stew! Staff are amazing too!you have to come here

Nice ambiente, friendly staff, warm welcome. Huge choice of drinks, the mango mule was awesome. Food was delicious, Catch of the day and a vegan salad bowl. Desert as well with a vegan option. Highly recommended!
Excellent meal here tonight. Food was delicious, portion sizes were great (especially the kids portions) and food was served quickly, too. Cocktails were great, and the staff were all friendly and polite. Would definitely visit if in the area.

After a long day walking we called in for a takeaway.
Immediately we found the staff friendly and attentive. Our order, three lots of chips, was prepared very quickly and was piping hot.
There's plenty of seating inside (it's bigger than it looks from the outside) and a few tables on the front veranda / decking.
Parking in the village is pretty much non-existant so walking here via the back path (Sandy Lane) is recommended and helpful for working off the chips.
Though we sampled only a little of the atmosphere in a quick visit, it was enough to know that when next we're in the area we'll be calling in again.
The perfect spot, sitting in sunny Croyde, this place has everything you need to set you up for a wonderful day. The food is sublime, the surrounding views are stunning, and you are close to the most wonderful beaches. Reasonably priced and wonderful staff.
Lovely little bar selling food and drinks. Been many times over the years on our trips down to Croyde. We came into the village early to get a carpark space when the craft fair was on and after much debate on where to go for a cream tea, ( as most places where still closed or haven't fully opened yet) I made the executive decision to come here. Must say they were very delicious.
Amazing food, laid back atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, and dog friendly what more could you ask for? I can recommend the caribbean lamb curry.
Came for breakfast out of season. Really good menu, lots of choice! Nice building and location with parking paid nearby and low prices. The staff were great. Definitely recommend!
A lovely family meal at Blue Groove. There were eleven of us, three generations and we all agreed that it was a great night. Excellent food served by friendly and helpful staff in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We have been coming to Croyde with our family for several years and we always go to Blue Groove it is part of our holiday. The petite lady who served us was charming and we made a point of thanking her before we left
I loved the mussels here they were cooked to perfection and were the largest I have ever seen. There were no closed shells either which I have come to expect! The service was fast , atmosphere good and food great

Best restaurant in the village. I always book when my friends and I go surfing/drinking for the weekend. Food is always really good and normally have some very interesting specials. Staff are very friendly and the place looks great. Looking forward to my next visit.
Shot down to croyde as fast as I could after work on Friday evening to catch the boys for a weekend of camping and surfing. I was introduced by a good friend of mine to blue groove! What an experience! Amazing service and amazing food! The banoffee pie and mango sorbet was so beautiful that i doved in before getting a pic. The food was so good in fact that while napping between tides, I dreamt about eating the deep fried calamari starter, I woke myself up chewing. I was so grateful to re-live that moment. I will be recommending the restaurant to anyone I know that is heading down. Kudos to the team for all of their hard work. From one hospitality veteran to another, you guys did good 🤙
My only regret was not booking all our nights out for dinner here. There is so much more on the menu I wanted to have. Highly recommend booking to eat here. Staff were also great. We’ll be back next year.

Back garden offers perfect sun trap for a sunny afternoon beer. Staff very attentive and kind. Great drinks available and some delicious food offerings as well. A bit on the pricey side but overall would definitely come back as worth it for such a relaxing experience

Only stopped for coffee, which was delicious. Service was friendly and quick. It was very busy, obviously a very popular place to stop. We didn't eat but saw some food come out and wished we had, it looked amazing

A group of friends and I were visiting Croyde Bay and wanted to try Blue Groove after hearing how great it was. The first night we tried, it was full. Second night it was closed but we managed to get in on our third attempt after getting there early. We were seated straight away and our orders taken. Nice variety to choose from and prices were reasonable.
The food was delicious. I had the day's special which was the hake and my friends had dishes from the menu. We all enjoyed the dishes. However we had to wait awhile for the dessert menu and when it arrived, we had to ask for more napkins. We didn't seem to have been allocated a waiter/ress and each person who came to our table was different. No one checked on how we were throughout our meal or if we needed anything else. Hence why I didn't give 5/5. The table behind us had been served their starters but after waiting over 1/2 and alerting the staff, did they get their mains.
Overall, food was delicious but the experience was let down by the service.
We love Blue Groove breakfasts before a long day on the beach!
Their customisable breakfast sandwiches are great but their full English and various poached egg dishes are not to be missed either! Very attentive service and comfortable restaurant. Reasonable prices too.

The food here is first class starting with breakfast all the way up to evening meal. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is spotlessly clean. We have had breakfast here nearly every morning and we can't fault it. We have had three of our evening meals here too and they were excellent, very tasty and cooked to perfection.
